Abington Art Center is a hidden gem and a great institution that feeds the local community with arts and culture. The grounds and sculpture garden are magical, and the trails are short but beautiful for a nice stroll. It is a super clean space with a beautiful gallery. The center hosts exceptional and fun events, including a free summer concert series that is awesome. Seasonal light shows like Astra Lumina are a must-see after dark, featuring unique and interesting segments with a theme and story line. The trail is well-lit and feels somewhat other-worldly. It is recommended as a good date night experience and is best for an audience of ten and up. The center also offers pottery classes for all age groups with great instructors. Parking is available for a fee.
Astra Lumina was the BEST EVENT I EVER WENT TO! A MUST SEE! If it is anywhere near you...GO!! I drove an hour and a half to get to Philly and if it was going to be there again tomorrow l would GO RIGHT BACK! SPECTACULAR!
