“Went there after work, got Lucky because they close early during the week. But got an amazing Strawberry Banana smoothie, and some bar b Q ribs that were outstanding and falling of the bone. I loved the fruit punch also. I got some fried shrimp that were pretty bland and tasted like whatever they were sitting next to. I also got a decent piece of cheesecake and some rice pudding I didn't care for but all in all very satisfied and will certainly be back soon.”
“I want to express my upmost gratitude for THIS SPECIFIC A&N House of Produce. I coach for a non-profit organization, where we participate in enrichment activities as well-- my work is in Philly, so our kids do not have access to many fall activities; my players love to be involved with these types of activities, but may not have access to them.
For those of you who may not be familiar, non-profit organizations receive little to no funding. As a coach, this is an ongoing barrier for me, I have a lot of ideas I want to do with my team I cannot due to lack of money. I was pleased with the manager, Ishmael, because he was willing to hear me out and help our team.
What Ishmael and his team may not have known is I had gotten 8 no's and a dismissive manager when I went to other produce vendors, to even hear me out on WHY I was there. Ishmael listened, and sold us pumpkins to create memories.

I did today and I got some beefsteak tomatoes, I wanted to get more but I am handicapped and couldn’t carry a large watermelon.These tomatoes are soooooo good, I am definitely going back and get some more stuff. “I have been buying flowers for my window boxes for years here. They are so very lovely that I have had people stop in my driveway and in front of my house to take pictures of them. I take no credit at all for their loveliness. All credit goes to Mother Nature and her equally lovely friends at McCarter-Dallman.”

“This niche, unnoticeable small produce/ co-op or co-op like store offers fresh food. If it can go bad then it might be on discount or even free. Definitely a neighborhood store to help the community with some healthy food options potentially. I stuck out that the employee was wondering what I was doing at this venue until I said TooGoodToGo. I felt like I would've been a nuisance without this unexpected "carte blanche." In my goodies bag, I ended up with two cinnamon? Muffins, 1 or 2 corns, croissants, peach cups, carrots, mushrooms. Almost docked a star but the man was nice enough to take his time to pack me some goodies and then pointed me to the free table of things as well. A man on the side of the street was trying to say hi to me but I thought he was going to ask me for money. So I didn't reply. I knew that I was in a respectable neighborhood (Cobbs Creek) but I also know that I don't live here, I stick out, and it is Philadelphia proper. It felt awkward to look around inside the small store even though there were 10 min left. Everything seemed ready for closing up. I would've gotten there sooner but personal things came up. But I did still make it on time thankfully. I guess you could say, I really get around!”
“I moved down the street from this place in the last month and I absolutely adore it. The people who work there are super nice and happy. It has a great community feel and the other customers seem to know everyone who works there. The deli in the back is amazing - I get the breakfast sandwiches almost daily and their cheesesteak is low key one of the best around. Love love love”

“The store itself is good, always clean and well stocked. Unfortunately a lot of homeless and mentally ill people hang around outside. The parking lot gets crowded easily as well. Get there early for the best experience.”
“I happened to visit the above outlet for my kitchen requirements especially Indian vegetables like plantain flower, brinjal, raw banana, dosa dough etc. The staff here were very cooperative and quick in billing and attending to customers request/ query regarding locating the items of need. Fresh sugarcane juice is available here. Indian savouries, sweets, samosa and hot cutlets are also available. It's worth visiting the store as most of Indian kitchen requirements are available.”
“I hadn't been to this store in years. I will probably be a regular customer now. The store was clean and the employees were pleasant and knowledgeable. They had a great selection of fresh produce, a large variety of candies, garden flags, and lottery tickets. I expect it won't be long until they also carry plants and gardening supplies. “This Aldi is located in Grant and Academy shopping plaza next door to the Dunkin Donuts. It's very similar to other Aldi stores but appeared to be about one aisle smaller. Therefore they have less product on the shelves. The produce section was about the same size but there was a smaller meat section. The store was well maintained and the produce employee was helpful answering my questions.”
