I can;t believe how this bank runs. Like it is the 1800's. You have to jump through hoops to do anything here. I am trying to remove my name from my sisters account and was told I would have to die. I can close the account but they advised that my sister would not get a check for 1 to 2 months from social security. She has more than enough money in her account for months for all her bills. I was advised not to close it. Have her go to a branch so they can transfer her money(so they can keep it) to a new account. She has had 2 strokes and cannot communicate well so that is not possible. She does not talk to me so I guess I need to get a lawyer to protect my rights.

If you're not a existing customer don't even walk in the door- they don't want to see you. And NEVER ask for change unless you got 6 ID's and DNA evidence- they'll give you the bums rush out of there quicker than you can say Bob's your uncle! In a word- STC sucks! Merry Christmas!

I only chose this branch because it's close to the Social Security office. When I first opened an account I wanted to walk out because of the ignorant looks I got walking in. Everyone else is greeted and some even by name with a smile. Every time I walk in it's ignorant looks. I opened two accounts one for my teenage son and another rep payee for my oldest. I eventually closed the accounts because I was relocating soon and this was the only time they smiled at me and engaged in friendly conversation when I said I was moving back to Philadelphia. I just received a back paycheck and took it to open an account to receive my son's monthly payment and again not greeted when I walked in with ignorant looks, I'm always greeting them when I walk in. This time I asked if they knew of any banks in the area that deposit funds a couple of days early and the younger gentleman told me only prepaid card accounts do it when I know it's not true I've been with a bank in Philadelphia that does. The older man whom I believe is the branch manager tried to tell me I couldn't open an account because he ran my info through check systems and on it it said no assets and other false information that I never gave him information to these questions, he never asked me anything to know what assets I have and if it's truly the issue why was I just able to open two accounts not long ago none of my information has changed. They are racist and Islamophobic. He tells me I “all banks around here do this you won't be able to open a bank account here”. He must think because I'm Muslim that we are not knowledgeable I have over 20 years of experience in customer service and financial services. I went straight to another bank and opened an account with no issues. This place is so ignorant I highly recommend banking elsewhere!

Every time I go into the Market Street branch I never have to wait long. Friendly, always greet me by name, and resolve any issue I may have immediately.I love this bank.

The bank teller was extremely rude to me for no reason at all, I’m really considering about switching banks

Never again. Used this bank and it was the total wrong choice. I even knew a few other people with accounts here, all have been closed out and taken to other banks including my own. Horrible.
