“I am so happy I found Derek! I had just moved to State College from Cincinnati and to have car problems right after moving is not fun. Don't waste your time with any of the mainstream auto service places, he's worth 10 of those "certified mechanics." My Subaru was making this weird rattling noise that I couldn't pinpoint. Not wanting to spend an arm and leg at the dealer, I took my car to Midas and Tire town. What a waste of time, none of them could tell me what was wrong. I then found Derek and took it to him, and within 5 minutes of inspecting underneath the car, he found the source - a control arm bushing. He charges very reasonable prices for his fast, 5-star work too. I will definitely be taking my car to him for any future maintenance. They have very reasonable prices, (we compared their prices to other places in the area) and explain everything in detail regarding your vehicle and its needs. My girlfriend got an oil change yesterday, and the manager was out for an extended period of time, so they ended up giving her the oil change for free! This showed first-hand that they put the customer first. Would highly, highly recommend going to Monro on North Atherton!!”

Tyler (the owner) fixed it up for me and didn't even charge. Said it was an easy fix. I was there, took him a good hour and a replacement part.”

I pulled into Firestone and they quickly had my car on a lift and saw I had a 5-inch metal rod in the tire. They certainly could have convinced me that I needed a new tire, but they said it could be repaired and in less than 45 minutes, the job was done and I was safely back on the road for $32.08.”

She was very nice and offered to get me in 4 similar tires and still gave me the Black Friday deal pricing.
