Wow. 5:30 pm and there's a gone to lunch sign at the meat/fish counter. A guy walks by after awhile and says "technically I'm still on my lunch break" I then thanked him for the generous privilege of him allowing me to be served by him. At checkout, two lanes out of six were open, both jammed. I really don't like the self serve lanes, and low and behold I had trouble. The store manager comes over to help and couldn't be more condescending- I suggested they should open a couple more lanes for customers like me , and she stated that they couldn't man them. When I pointed out the three employees in plain sight standing around doing absolutely nothing- she informed me "everyone needs a break" Crap customer service, crap attitudes. And, they couldn't care less. This is the Kennett Square Giant on Scarlett road.

Giant on Concord Pike is our go-to supermarket. Its produce, meats and seafood are good and reliable. The prices are in line with the area. They have specials regularly. Check-out is easy and fast. Parking is ample, and the location is good.

Usually love getting gas here as reward points provide a decent discount, however have never been able to get gas past 10:30 p.m. as pumps have always been closed during the week...

We only visit to use our Giant rewards. Can't beat saving 50 cents a gallon or even more. Only issue is they limit savings to 25 gallons.

Love using my Giants reward bonus points to save money on fuel here... Sadly, they do not offer diesel for our fleet of trucks, but we can bring our storage cans in to get regular gasoline for all of our tools and equipment! Just scan the Giant barcode from the app on your phone and instantly start saving money... Got 70 cents off a gallon today! Pump tells you how much you can save and asks if you'd like to redeem those bonus points... Just say yes, and you're on your way. Be mindful that points do have an expiration date and the end of the month can be very busy at the giant gas station because everyone's trying to get there maximum savings in before they expire... Our team at Cope Construction and Renovation loves saving money on gasoline at the Giant!

Stopped in to grab milk and a couple supplies. This is a HUGE supermarket with many aisles and plenty of room to walk around on a Saturday morning. They were out of single Duraflame logs but I was able to grab firewood and starters instead. The deli system was a "take a number" system where you were supposed to order at a kiosk. The kiosk said they were out of pickles, but there were 3 sitting in the case right in front of me. I thought they would call my number on the overhead page but apparently that's only for order pickup. Despite the confusion, the staff member was nice enough to get me a "fresh" pickle from the back when I said that's all I wanted. Self checkout went smoothly and the staff were courteous and helpful.

Never an issue using my gas points at this location. If there's any problems, the gas attendant is very helpful.
