“I normally don’t write reviews but I had to write this one. The place is absolutely beautiful and so so clean. You are greeted when you walk through the door with a pleasant voice welcoming you. The gentleman at the front desk was phenomenal. The lobby is spotless and beautiful. The location is amazing with stores all around you. We forgot an item at home and there was Walmart basically right there. The rooms are spotless and beautiful. If you are looking for a nice place to stay this is for you. I would highly recommend this place. Thank you to the gentleman at the front desk. Your customer service is phenomenal. Thank you to the guest room attendant for a spotless room. To all the staff thank you for all your hard work and dedication. It definitely shows. We will definitely be back. You all are truly amazing!!!????”
“Rooms are a bit dated. I had no issues with my room, except the digital key never worked. That is annoying!!!The staff was very friendly. Common areas were always clean and tidy. “We stayed here last month while visiting Longwood Gardens and some nearby areas in Wilmington (Hagley, Winterthur and Nemours)
The hotel, staff and breakfast were outstanding, especially condsidering the price paid.
Only detriments were access coming in from US 1 (due to the construction we missed it several times) and from 322 access is difficult unless you're coming in from the south. Traffic in the area is pretty busy, but manageable.
Other than that, we'd definitely stay at the location again!”
“Lovely hotel near several attractions (Longwood Gardens, Brandywine River Museum, Winterthur) and within walking distance to best Italian food ever (Antica). Comfortable beds, very clean, easy check in, nice breakfast. Only negatives: horrible toilet paper, no tissues, and no phone in room to contact front desk. Second visit this year. Next time I’ll bring my own TP!”
“The staff was gracious under pressure (understaffed during check-in) and the young lady at the front desk stayed calm and polite and is to be commended. The breakfast staff was equally accommodating of our large group who lingered long after breakfast was over. So thank you! Suggestion…perhaps keep some cash on hand as we wanted to break large bills for tips and there was no money anywhere. Thank you for a short and sweet stay.Nearby activities: Stayed overnight during a trip to Longwood Gardens!”

“We spent one night here and everything was perfect. Our room was absolutely sparkling clean, and they were lovely little details left by housekeeping, such as a note welcoming us with a lovely drawing of a butterfly. Also see the lovely flower that our housekeeper made with the toilet paper. So sweet.”
