Car wouldn’t start
AAA towed it to KS Automotive and they started working on it straight away giving frequent progress reports.
The problem included resetting the computer addressing and replacing a neglected filter for the hybrid batteries and also the starter battery itself.
The car was fixed and checked and I picked it up within 24 hours.
Top notch service from a friendly team!!!

The best family run business. They helped me and I am bouncing back. They are very concerned with every thing they do. I recommend people to go to them for inspectios annd oil changes. Tires and changed rotations and all vehicle work. 5 gold stars.?

This place came highly recommended. I went for a deep clean of our SUV. I got it back looking as if it were brand new!! The service from beginning to end was off-the-chart first rate: the price was reasonable, and everyone there gets the highest mark in “customer orientation”. When done, the owner took quite a bit of time and effort to explain a function of the SUV (oil maintenance) that wasn’t even part of the service I went there for. I’ll pass along the high recommendations without hesitation!

Very friendly folks. They do great work. The rates are fair and they go above and beyond to make sure your vehicle is safe and you know what's going on with it. Even when you just came in for an oil change. I highly recommend them.

Nic may no longer be there but it's the same friendly, informative service as always! I met the new owners, Jimmy and his wife. They seem like great, knowledgeable people who I feel safe and confident leaving my car in their hands, thanks for a great experience! See you in a few months for the work we talked about!

Met the owner and my experience was absolutely fantastic. Put my car up on the lift and fixed my splash guard for free, and also helped me out with some of the title troubles I had been experiencing. Jimmy (owner) took my title docs to a local Tag Place, and fixed the situation for me, and again FREE OF CHARGE. Cannot recommend this shop enough, auto service and great customer service! Ask for Jimmy, he is absolutely great!!

I have been experiencing an issue with a "check engine light" for my emissions, which comes on and off. I finally decided to take it in to have the codes read, and lo and behold, I need a new sensor. I was satisfied with the quick diagnostic and will be returning to have the work completed, in addition to my inspection and transmission service which is due. The new owners are fabulous, and I love being able to connect with women owned businesses (co-owned) and having someone who can explain what's wrong in layman's terms is wonderful. I highly recommend KS Automotive.

I do not recommend this business to anybody in the area. In fact I’d provide them with 0 stars if I could.
In November of 2023, I called ahead to KS Automotive to inquire about renting a vehicle through Hertz Car Rentals after Hertz verified all would work out with the reservation. I asked simple questions such as "I am trying to rent a 4WD Chevy Suburban via Hertz. Can I confirm that this will be available for pick up on December 26th, 2023?" The attendant was polite but generally seemed uninterested and annoyed with my inquiries. Despite my concerns, I booked the trip with Hertz.
Fast forward to December 26th, I took an uber to KS Automotive with my bags at 8:00AM to pick up the vehicle so I could get started on my trip and pick up my family a half hour away so we could drive up to New York to visit family. I arrived and noticed the building looked empty. I assumed I was just early after the holidays and did not give it much thought. I waited a bit longer and looked around. I noticed that there was not a single vehicle in the lot that resembled a Chevy Suburban or a vehicle of equivalent size. I grew concerned so I went over to the front door a second time and noticed they had a sign reading that they would be closed the 25th and 26th (of December 2022, mind you) and to call Hertz with any concerns. I immediately called Hertz and they were of little help because they could not believe the situation either. A construction site manager working on the property adjacent to the shop came over as he saw me stressing. He provided me with the phone number of the shop owner. I called the number of the business on the door and after no answer, called the owner, again no answer. I was completely out of luck. I had to uber back to my family with no rental car and we had to cram the six of ourselves into a single sedan, which is all we had at the time, and drove to upstate new york. KS Automotive caused an incredible amount of stress for me and my family. I understand that everyone deserves to spend the holidays with family and close business doors for a couple of days to relax. I am not a complete scrooge.
Luckily Hertz was quick to refund the money we paid for the reservation but my problem lies with KS Automotive. How could a business that deals face to face with customers and represents Hertz fail to look at a calendar and tell me they would be out of office? And on top of that, not even have the rental car we ordered on site? I am in awe of this sort of miscommunication and failure of a business.
This comes after my father had taken my mother's car in a few months earlier to determine where a burning oil smell was coming from in her engine bay. After an hour of
"work" no problem was found and the vehicle was returned to my father in no better condition. A seemingly routine question for an auto shop, I figured, but I guess I'm incorrect to think that.
All in all, this company does not care about their customers in any sense, nor do they seem to know how to run a business properly and efficiently. I would not recommend requesting their services in any realm beyond that to change a tire. But even at that point you may leave with only three wheels if you're not careful.
