I ordered two glasses, one of which is with Progressive glass. The agreed price is $100 for two glasses for $79.50. Two weeks of orders completed but only one with progressives, I had to add $40.00 for the second pair of glasses. The reason is that the initial price agreed is for customers without insurance. Why wasn't it explained at the first place about insurance and having to pay an extra $40.00? Be aware!

Third issue with this location. Final straw was tonight I arrived at the store 4min before closing. All I wanted to do was pick up my new glasses. Wasn't going to even ask for them to be "fitted" "adjusted" w/e it's called. Would have taken maybe 90 seconds to get them. Door was locked before closing with 5 employees standing inside. They stared at me, then all looked away/ignored me. 6min later 2 of the ladies came to the door. One left, the other one I asked if I could pick up my glasses. She said "no, we're closed.". I said, they were open when I got there and the door was locked early and that they had all seen me there waiting. She closed the door in my face and locked it again as I was trying to talk to her.

I usually have alright experiences with America’s Best. Today I went to pick up my contacts. Got there 20min before close, saw 2 people inside with lights off. Decided to go ahead and ask maybe they’d be nice enough to hand me my contacts since they still had 20min. I was told the doors close 6:30? But they close 7? I asked since when. He said since like a year. Huh, 3 weeks ago when I came to pick up another prescription I arrived 20 min before closing and they were STILL open.

Didn't honor an appointment timeframe. I called ahead and they said come before 5. Showed up with plenty of time at 4:45pm before the doc left for the day but they wouldn't give me an exam. When I called them after I left to figure out what happened they said she was booked up from then until 5:30, so their story changed...

Have been coming here for years and the staff is constantly changing. Came in to pick up my contacts today and was treated like we were criminals. Immediately told to sit down and was reprimanded for going into the contact room when they were not able to find my order. Only went in to ask a question. Three days before Christmas and there was not an ounce of humanity in that space at all. Left feeling disgusted and as if I was bothering them. You have lost a customer. Will not be coming back.

I filed a lengthy report on their king of Prussia siteI believe that they would remove if seen. However every word was true.I had the worst experience that I have ever had in all my 79 years. With an employee woman who had attacked me verbally because I ask her why she yelled at meWhen I walked in the store door that was unlocked at 8:56. Only 4 minutes before the store was officially opened in just 4 minutes to go. She was rude and obnoxious in her tirade of words to me before telling me to leave I wrote in detail on the complaint site. I will never ever step foot in that establishment again that women should be fired on the spot for the treatment she gave me.There could not be a manager on site or he would intervened in my behalf for the way I was being talked to.

**LOOK OUT FOR NEW APPOINTMENTS WITH REMOTE DOCTORS AT THIS STORE**DON'T WORRY THEY COST THE SAME AS SEEING A REAL DOCTORLast two interactions were perhaps the worst customer service experience I have ever had. I attempted to re-order contacts on the site and although the order seemed to be accepted it sat there not moving (I assume as no one contacted me) unfulfilled until I logged in again to see it was due to needing a new prescription. Would have been awesome if someone had reached out via phone or email.Angrily from the order not being valid (it appears) I booked an appointment for the KOP location and 2-3 days prior you guys made it known that it was to be a "virtual" appointment or one in which the doctor would be remote. In your defense you gave the option to cancel or change but being we needed contacts for an international trip on Saturday we went ahead and booked it.We arrived skeptical to the site, began to fill out paperwork when the lady happily began to check us in. 2 minutes later a woman came from the back to alert us the store was "2-3 hours" behind schedule!! She asked if we could wait...lol We explained of course we could not wait that long as we had tickets to an event 90 minutes from now. She then recounted how this new "remote" doctor system was so flawed and was leading to these massive waits. I was actually laughing as finally someone was honest about how ridiculous all of this was....I actually appreciated someone actually telling the truth for once.So I wont be rescheduling the appointment (I already have one at Costco) but what I will do is post this review as far and wide as possible and tell every person I see how you guys do business.Also, my spouse will not have the contacts she needs on our international trip thanks to you guys so kudos.From as empty the location was it seems others are also catching on as well.

Beware. Get pricing in writing if interacting with this business by phone. Scheduled an eye exam on December 5, 2024 for my 19 year old daughter as a long time repeat customer. Discussed the fact that we were not using insurance and only wanted an exam to refresh the contact lens prescription. Was quoted $50 over the phone for this very limited and specific exam. Broader exams were offered at higher cost but declined. Daughter had the exam today, December 18, 2024, as scheduled, and this business charged $119. When challenged, the answer was "well, corporate initiated a price change". So no caveat that prices are subject to change and no effort to resolve the situation and preserve goodwill. So, for $69 this business lost a revenue stream that could have lasted a long time. Shady and shortsighted.

I wish I can give this store zero star.I recently had a frustrating experience at American best eyeglasses. Despite my excitement for new glasses, the service fell short. The staff seemed disinterested, and I had to wait an unusually long time for assistance. When my glasses finally arrived, the prescription was incorrect, leading to discomfort and headaches. Communication was also lacking, making the overall experience disappointing. I hope the shop can address these issues for future customers.

Made a call to make a purchase and was trying to figure out my follow up. Spoke to the the manager by the name of Tash.. which she got hostile and rude before hanging up the phone up on me. Call again and got another manager which this time was a male? so am confused why would it be two manager there on a Saturday but anyway he was abit understanding... they need to hire people that want to work and have good customers skill.

The staff is absolutely marvelous!! There is such an upbeat and professional environment. Everyone was so helpful and delightful. I appreciate the laughter and the overall demeanor of the staff. I enjoy going to them all the time for my vision needs.

The best of the best. Love it here stopped seeing our old eye doc and cane here and they had it fixed within no time at all. All the staff was so kind and made my mom and I laugh and helped us pick the best plan for the right prices. I recommend this place over any eye place. Come here nd never stress over eye problem again.
