Hands down worst company I have ever interacted with. I have 2 better business bureau complaints against them (the only 2 I've felt the need to file). They let my tank run dry in a pennsylvania January leaving my wife and small children with no heat or hot water for almost 2 weeks. I couldn't get a propane on my property because they outsourced the call center to India and the trucks and call center do not have direct contact and there is no way to reach the drivers any other way. Then when I switched providers like any sane person would they billed me 320$ to remove thier own rusted tank from my property. This is company that does not care that all their ratings are F and all thier reviews are 1 star. All they seem to understand is lawsuits.

We've been loyal customers of Amerigas for quite some time now, relying on their services to keep our spa warm during the chilly winters here in Orlando, Florida. Typically, we have our 100-gallon tank filled annually, and this year was no exception. However, on January 24th, when they came to refill the tank, we were in for an unpleasant surprise. The invoice totaled around $500, noticeably higher than usual, but understandable given the rise in fuel prices.Two weeks after the refill, when we finally decided to enjoy our spa, we were met with disappointment. The tank was empty. Understandably frustrated, I reached out to their customer service department, only to find myself communicating with representatives based in India. While I have no qualms with their location, it's disheartening to feel disconnected from the issue at hand.Despite my efforts and nearly a month passing, there's been no resolution. The representatives I've spoken with insist that we've somehow used up the gas and are now on the hook for another refill. This assertion is absurd, given that we only use the spa for six months out of the year. It's incredibly frustrating to encounter such dismissiveness and lack of accountability.At this point, it's evident that Amerigas has no intention of rectifying this situation. We've been left with no choice but to seek services elsewhere. Their abysmal customer service and apparent disconnect between their international representatives and the realities of the U.S. market make them a company to avoid at all costs. We'll be sure to steer clear of Amerigas in the future and advise others to do the same.

Amerigas - They Lie, They Cheat, They Steal.This is the THIRD time I have been OVER CHARGED. I ordered 200 gallons. The driver, when the delivery was made, told me I had called THREE times and ordered 200 gallons each time. FALSE. I called once.Clearly, their overseas office gets paid based on the orders they take, or make up.I am going to file two of these charges with the FRAUD department at my bank. I am filing these charges as FRAUD with the State of Montana. I am filing these FRAUD charges with the FBI FRAUD office in Billings.Amerigas, STOP cheating your customers.People, stop signing up with Amerigas as they will Lie to you, Cheat you, and STEAL from you.I have my call logs showing my ONE call to order propane. I also have the 24 phone calls to deal with the other two fraud charges to my debit card.

This is the second poor review I'm leaving. I'm an employee and they still can't get it right. I've been requesting my bill be corrected multiple times since September and here we are still nothing. The best part is after my first review they replied requesting I email customer service to have this issue corrected that was December and even after emailing NO ONE has yet to respond!

Absolutely the worst fuel company to deal with., and the worst call center. Took over 3 months to get one set of tanks removed. They sent 1 person over while knowing that they needed two multiple times.I accidentally reached a non Call Center rep, (Heather) who accomplished in a few minutes what I couldn't in 3 months.I received a bill the day after the pickup was made. I was due a credit for the propane in the tanks. They have not processed the credit though the call center it was being processed. I now get notices that my bill is overdue. I am due a credit that is at least double the amount of the bill. You can not talk toa person ofher than in the Call Center , they don't respond to email or letters sent by mail. Avoid this company.Update 12/28/2023After posting my review I was contacted by Amerigas and the problem with my account has been resolved. I woukd like to thank Tracy in getting this matter resolved.I am upping my rating from 1 to 3 stars. In my case the problem was not being able to get in touch with anyone who could resolve problems.All my problems could have been avoided with a direct contact emiil or phone.At the minimum, the Call Center should give out a number or email address when a customer needs help and they can't answer or provide followup.As of now, i still feel the Call Center is worthless.

I am writing this review to share my deeply disappointing experience with AmeriGas, hoping to inform others who may be considering their services.My journey with AmeriGas has been nothing short of frustrating. The most glaring issue has been with their delivery service. On multiple occasions, I found myself in the absurd position of physically running after the delivery drivers to get my propane tanks refilled. This situation was further aggravated when a technician visited my property and disclosed that the driver assigned to my route has been consistently problematic for many customers, yet astonishingly, remains employed.Financially, I was overcharged for the propane and after that they raised my monthly payments with no reason as to why. When I attempted to address this with a representative and requested an adjustment in my monthly payments, the response was shockingly disrespectful. I was rudely suggested to seek government assistance, implying that I was financially incapable of meeting my obligations. This, despite my record of timely, and sometimes even advanced, payments.Communication with the company has been a continuous challenge and I received CONSTANT disrespect and misinformation. I have had to resort to emailing corporate addresses to receive any attention. This is particularly frustrating considering my status as a prompt-paying customer, which apparently has done little to assure the service I am rightfully entitled to.I am compelled to advise anyone in the upper valley of New Hampshire, or New Hampshire in general, to seek services elsewhere. My experience with AmeriGas has been characterized by disrespect, rudeness, and a blatant disregard for providing adequate customer service. It is clear that customer satisfaction is not a priority for this company, and I caution potential customers to consider alternatives for their propane needs.

AmeriGas failed their delivery days after day from estimated Dec.7th to 8th and they don't deliver despite my multiple calls for my low percentage of tank and over 7 days after the order and waiting. Their customer services are so poor that they never text or email me to update the delivery status. My wife and I have to leave and stay in hotel in order to save propane in hope they will deliver on Monday Dec. 11th. I have also hard time to purchase my tank as they are no longer selling 500 Gallon tank underground. It is such a bad and inhuman company that I am hoping it should be completely be bought or taken over by someone else.

billed twice for a delivery when only one delivery happened, Called customer service, what a joke! Was told it would take 72 hours to resolve. Time passed and now action so I called again. Same store 72 hours. well I have made a total of 4 called now and the last time the rude partial English speaking person who was a supposed supervisor told me it could take weeks for the issue to resolve, Now I get a bill for your error adding insult to injury. Why can't their customer service follow thought and actually do their job. They even had proof of their error and still didn't resolve it after 4 calls from me. Now I understand why all the low rankings.

We found out that Amerigas was considerably higher on everything, tank rental and cost of gas per unit so we discontinued our service and went to another provider. When we called Amerigas to cancel our many years of service, the representative said we should have given them the chance to meet the price of the other company. My question was why we should have to do that if Amerigas was trying to be even remotely competitive in the marketplace. I gave the rep the chance to match the price and he did, FOR ONE YEAR. Really? I cancelled and arranged for tank pick up. I was informed that the gas, we had already paid for, still in the tank would be withdrawn and a credit issued. They did not show up on the scheduled day. When Amerigas did finally come to pick up the tank, a credit was issued and shows on our account. That was months ago and we still have not received our refund. We have called several times to inquire about our refund. The last time we were told "the check has been issued." That was a month ago and still no refund. At this point, Amerigas has our money and the product. It's theft.

Amerigas is hands down the worst company I've ever worked with in my entire life. Their customer service is a disaster and you can't find anyone who's actually interested in helping you. If one person says they'll help you they never follow through. Even if your hopes for assistance are on the floor, they still can't rise to meet them. I have to give them one star for the review to post, but if negative stars was possible that's what I'd xhoose. Please for the love of God go somewhere else.

As has been said in many many reviews before, this is THE WORST customer service I've ever encountered. Rude, not helpful, passive aggressive. I called to inquire about new service to see if I would potentially switch over to Amerigas and it was so unpleasant, I wouldn't even if their prices were half of what I'm currently paying, and TO MAKE IT WORSE, their prices were actually much higher. Get better AmeriGas or loose customers...

An absolutely criminal operation, seemingly from the top down. They dangerously mis-diagnosed an issue with a propane system that existed on a property when I purchased it. Subsequently, after being fired, they caused thousands worth of property damage by breaking the electronic mechanism on my property’s front gate and then trespassing. I am currently filing suit against the company and their Santa Barbara county territory manager Richard Hernandez due to a complete lack of professional response to a clear and substantiated private property violation.
