I really feel some of these places are just out for money. This particular one felt sales pitchy. I’ve been coming to Banfield for years. First time with this vet. Recommends thousand dollars worth of random tests during my routine vaccination. I left feeling dirty. Not coming back. Maybe not to Banfield at all. I’m so tired of feeling ripped off by people in medical positions. I’m not your piggy bank.

It’s very inconvenient to bring your pet here; they will not give you an estimated pick up time, will hold your pet for 8 hours for one vaccine. Traumatizing for the pets and impossible to schedule around. In addition, the staff is incredibly rude. Adds insult to injury- stay away!

Everyone at this hospital from the front desk to the nurses to the doctors were outstanding. They showed care, empathy and made me feel assured my fur baby was in great hands.

They were very polite dealing with my less than enthused pooch. They made me feel comfortable answered all my questions and were reasonably priced.

-Hidden fees on top of hidden fees ($$$$)-Dirty place-Irresponsible booking error the first time; couldn’t do the visit-Staff incompetent; I almost couldn’t get the services doneBooking error/incompetent staff:Took my cat yesterday 8/17/23 for travel vaccine and chip, but I didn’t know I needed more paperwork. Then they tell me they couldn’t give him his vaccine or chip because the USDA accredited vet wasn’t there that day (what?!) and the person who booked my appointment made a mistake (wasting my time, they didn’t even mention this in the confirmation call the day prior, or try to reschedule), and gave me wrong information. One of the receptionists couldn’t properly explain what was wrong with the paperwork & turns out he/they was/were wrong.Took my cat *today* 8/18/23 for rabies vaccine, and ISO microchip because I will be traveling soon. Turns out he had an ear infection, so I had to pay for that medicine as well. Only worked out because they called back after I left the day prior.Hidden fees:I even called ahead a week ago to ask about pricing, and no mention of “professional service” fee ($35) or “professional service injection administration” fee ($21), none of which is included in the vaccine cost ($28), visit cost, or microchip cost ($42).ON TOP of all the hidden “professional” fees, they charge $5 per minute. I didn’t stay longer to dispute the bill full of hidden fees for fear of being charged more ?.Dirty place:AND the place was dirty, I couldn’t sit anywhere, had to stand the whole time. Even the counter was dirty. Not worth the nearly $300 bill.

This was Most unprofessional vet I have ever been to. It started with the main vet on staff treating us like were over reacting and stupid about our old dog who had been puking a dark black substance as well as having diaherria that was dark in color. All because the dog got anxious when she was in the room and was walking around she said the dog was fine and called a nurse in to assist with an exam. Regardless of whether we were right or wrong you should never treat people with such a lack of empathy or even just respect. I will NEVER take my older dog back here as she is still sick today after taking medication they gave her. I will be taking her to a real vet. I highly recommend you DO NOT take your animals here.I will be filing a formal complaint with this Banfield location. You guys should be closed.

I can not say enough good things about this incredible staff, from their office manager Bri (who has showed our family the utmost kindness) to every doctor and staff member we have come into contact with. Anytime I call with any concern or question I have never felt rushed and always feel completely informed by the end of the call. They are professional, caring and respectful and continue to make a positive impact on our fur babies quality of life. Thank you to the staff for all that you do!

I’d give NO stars if possible. These ppl are inexperienced when it comes to administering medication. Dog has heart worm even tho it’s on heart worm medication FROM THEM. Gets his first of three injections to cure him of it. They gave him 1.5X the recommended dose?!!!? Dog cried for 12+HRS in pain. Eyes rolling back in his head going in and out. ALL RECORDED BY THE WAY!!! When they called to say theyd made mistake on dosage ,they had NOOOOOO REMORSE. Oh but they did say IF an emergency happened, they’d foot the bill. So if the dog dies, they’ll pay for it?!!!? You’re supposed to be able to trust that these are healthcare professionals and careless AVOIDABLE mistakes happen like this. By the way this happens 3 days ago and they JUST NOW called to let us know.
