Competitive Edge Sports is a waste of time and money. We enrolled our daughter in the program thinking that they would be good at coaching and they would get fair play time in games. We paid a good amount money to have her enrolled. She was a solid player coming into the program. If you are considering bringing your volleyball player here, run the other direction.

My son has come here on and off for a few years. At first, we loved it the leagues for the young guys is good. When your child gets older however watch out for the registration fee for AAU because they are using this to keep the lights on. They have 3 team for kids in 10th, 150 kids were allowed to try out… after the try out you receive absolutely NO communication after that to say thanks for coming out you were selected, you weren’t selected. As if they had their players picked already. There is no way you can observe the skills of that many kids with 4-5 staff roaming around. Poor customer service. I’ve sent emails, I’ve called… good luck with tracking anyone down for questions.

Since I play basketball I loved the big basketball courts . One of the down sides was how crowded it was on a Thursday night. It was also super loud and sometimes balls from other courts would fly on to the court I was playing on. The last thing I disliked was after my game and before my game people already rented out the court which made it pointless to come early. In my opinion I think the upper merion community center is much better and right around the corner from the competitive edge sports center .

This place is a joke. Absolutely no place for parking but they collect $10 at entrance. Missed my kids game completely with no parking. They should stop taking money until they stop over booking this place. Inside it’s a total chaos.

Disappointing management fall league for individual registrations. Tournaments… $20 spectator admission to see 3-4 games total in a weekend in addition to cost of tournament registration fees.

We played at chargers nation. Admission price expensive just for spectators. Price that high should include couple slices of pizza and a soda. Also refs were horrible. Not calling right calls or not calling calls at all. I get you want to let the kids play the game. But if calls are not made it gets more physical and might end up being altercations after game. I feel definitely for the older groups. Refs are paid and need to call games fair. For parents just to see their own kids play cost them 20 a head smh. That’s way to expensive. Facility wasn’t even that nice for paying the tournament fee and for spectators paying 20 each. Need to do better will not be signing up there again.

Nice gymnasium, clean, tournament was very organized. Masks are not mandatory for spectators and seating is in very close quarters.
