Their customer service for their loan financing department sucks. Since April of 2021 we have received multiple letters asking us to submit proof of house insurance or they will increase our mortgage payment an extra $110 a month. We've submitted proof, received confirmation of proof four times within two months. Multiple calls to their company have been made over the last several months trying to resolve the issue and every time we call we get the run around. "Call back in a week to see if its been resolved" every single time. Ask to speak to a manager, "Oh that will take a few days"... It is now September and nothing has been resolved. To anyone look for a home loan do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere.

Here we go again. Made a customer service call to the BMT....Ardmore. Placed a call to customer service only to be placed into a general mailbox. After 4 phone calls a teller picked up. I indicated I was looking for a copy of a cancelled check to supply to my employer for direct deposit. Simple request and to please email me the copy. I was told to leave a message for Karen who was helping someone. I advised I had been trying for a better part of 45 minutes for assistance. The teller placed me on hold and when he came back to the phone he said Karen advised him to get the specific information and they would email it. Well, that was three hours ago and the bank is now closed and they never sent my cancelled check. The customer service and overall banking experience has been the worst at bank.

I have been with BMT since they bought out First Keystone Bank. They have the absolute worst online banking system I have ever experienced! For the past 2 years I have not been able to sign into any of my accounts without having to change my password, receive a code or make a phone call EVERY SINGLE TIME I try to sign in! I am DONE! If you use online banking, stay away from this bank!

My father and I both take advantage of bank account opening promotions (where you receive a couple hundred dollars for opening a new account with them). We do so because obviously the promotion is nice, and we also try new banks regularly and find the ones with the best services/incentives. Both our experiences with BMT were separate, and both awful. I don't believe their people are evil, but their processes and policies put customers in huge run-arounds. They also are incredibly strict on fees and are unwilling to budge even if it's clearly applied out of context. For example, I had opened an account online but didn't receive the paperwork to access the online account for 2 weeks (which is fine), however since my account had a 0 balance until I received the paperwork I was assessed a fee. In another case, my father had to call in multiple times to gain access to his account. He and I both had issues receiving the promotion (where it is never this difficult at other banks) because they would dig and look for a reason to be able to deny it. Overall, it is a bank with bad processes, customer service, and culture. I would strongly urge others to stay away, there are a lot of great banks out there. The primary individuals I dealt with were Kellie Walters and a regional/branch manager I believe named Wes.

Quite possibly the worst bank I have ever used. Opened an account because there was a branch near my business where my manager could make daily deposits. I should have known when it took the branch manager 45 minutes to open an account there were issues. A couple days later I couldn't not get on line access. Spent an hour on the phone. Turns out the wrong phone # was on my account. Finally get it set up and linked to other bank accounts and turns out I only have the ability to transfer $2k and the charge a $3 fee for each transfer. No other financial institution I work with charges a fee. They have no customer support after 6 or on weekends. This is a local bank with poor training and very bad technology. I would not recommend this bank to anyone.

The Bank is just plain inept and unprofessional. The Branch Managers have no Lending Limits or approval levels. Multiple Tellers in Blue Bell, PA tell customers that they bought "Bank of America". It was Royal Bank. The people at the Conshohocken Branch NEVER return Phone calls. A Small Loan ( $7,000) request by the NOMES/UNDERWRITERS in the Main Office even after I opened a Corporate Account with a Seven figure deposit, was denied. Dodd Frank is over, .....proved the Data they had was in error and they would NOT RESPOND. Lindsy Sailing, a Group VP /Empty Suit stomped into Mr. Novak's Office demanding that my Accounts be closed after I proved SHE WAS WRONG. Put your money under a Pillow First, and pray the people at this Bank learn manners and honesty..and get a Back Bone.

Bryn Mawr Trust needs to update it's systems and technology. The mobile and online banking experience is poor, inconvenient, and frustrating. Create a better customer experience or you will be out of business.

I've never felt so disrespected by the Manager of this branch. Every other employee and bank tellers are wonderful, delightful people. I was given a check from doing an odd job and I went to go cash the check at Bryn Mawr Trust on Eagle Road in Havertown because I do not have an account there, and the person who gave me the check wrote it wrong or messed it up and the Manager of this bank explained it to me in the rudest way she could and was very aggressive and used foul language when she spoke to me and then I left bc I could not cash it and also was late for work, Then I spoke to the bank manager again except on the phone and she was so rude and immediately accused me of writing the check myself (aka stealing someone's check and forging it) when I was just supposed to cash the check because it was a payment for my hard labor. Then she threatened me with police and their own security team. I'm very upset about this because she immediately assumed I was stealing someone's money or check when really I was the one who was wrongfully given a screwed up check by the person who was supposed to pay me for the work I did for them. I feel that the Manager was discriminating me for my age because I am under 25. It was so unprofessional and disrespectful and was defiantly because I'm a younger customer. I was supposed to switch banks and join Bryn Mawr Trust but if this is how they treat their customers I'm defiantly not going to switch to them! I've never felt so disrespected and I didn't even do anything wrong. My advice to anyone who would like to join this bank is DO NOT JOIN THIS BANK because the bank manager is mean, rude, and honestly treats people terrible. The bank tellers are so kind and nice so I was honestly shocked at the horrible things the bank manager said to me. Never setting foot in that bank again. It's really sad that the Manager is allowed to just accuse anyone she wants too and use aggressive and disrespectful curse words. NEVER GOING TO THIS BANK AGAIN.
