Very rude Pharmacy Department. My first time calling this pharmacy to extend the pick up for a prescription. The department gentleman (actually non) seemed overwhelmed...mistakenly stating that he had already spoken to me. His tone was as if he was working out of his home and I was disturbing his nap or dinner. Unbelievable.

These pharmacists pick and choose who and when a patient needs thier medication. They play games with peoples lives. An internal document kept secret by the nation's largest drug store chain has finally been obtained. It reveals why Walgreens is now turning away some customers and refusing to fill their prescriptions."We were told patients are not supposed to know we're using [this]," said pharmacy technician Marianne Ryan. "But I don't think it should be some big secret. This form had to be filed out by the pharmacist, so I think patients should know what's on it."Ryan is talking about what Walgreens calls its Good Faith Dispensing Policy checklist. The controversial checklist – and the policy behind it -- first came to light earlier this year after 13 Investigates reported many Walgreens customers are facing problems when trying to get prescription refills for pain medication.Walgreens patrons across the nation said their prescriptions were being delayed or denied because of a new pharmacy policy, but Walgreens would not tell them what the policy is. When The Walgreen Company corporate headquarters was contacted for more information, the pharmacy chain declined to provide a copy of its GFD Policy, explaining it is for "internal use only."But after the investigations quickly spread across the Internet and more patients began speaking out, Ryan decided to leak the checklist to to help educate consumers. A separate source provided us with a copy of the full GFD Policy.geographical proximity to the drug store (far distances that cannot be explained are a red flag)Whether the prescription is being filled on time (attempt to fill early is a red flag)Whether the patient is paying for the prescription using insurance (cash is a red flag)Whether the quantity of pills prescribed is considered excessive (more than 120 pills is a red flag if paying by insurance; more than 60 pills is a red flag if paying cash)Whether the patient has been taking the same medication and dosage for a long time (more than 6 months is a red flag)Based on the results of the previous steps and questions, Walgreen's checklist instructs pharmacists to use their "professional judgement" (sic) to determine whether the prescription should be filled or the pharmacy should take the additional step of calling the prescribing doctor to ask more questions. If a call to the physician is needed to further verify the prescription, the checklist directs Walgreens staff to "verify/confirm any number of the following points" with the doctorPrescription is written within prescriber's scope of practiceDiagnosisTherapeutic regimen is within standard of careExpected length of treatmentDate of last physical and pain assessmentUse of alternative/lesser prescription medications for pain controlCoordination with other clinicians involved in patient carePrescription is written within prescriber's scope of Diagnosis. We are pawns in there games to control peoples lives. Something needs to be done, not all of us are drug abusers.

Spent 78.00 on items, at checkout, they give me a coupon for 10.00 in rewards next time I spend at least 10.00 there within the next 7 days. Why do they need to put an expiration date on it? Chances are since I just spent almost 80.00, I'm not going to need to buy anything within a week. Also, why not just give me the coupon, its like you constantly have to make purchases here to be able to use a coupon " next time". I'll stick to Rite-Aid

It is Friday June 23 at 12:05 and the unhelpful pharmacy woman was vicious. Thanks for caring about those of us who need medications. If I could give her negative stars, I would.

I originally gave the Walgreens one star because I was mad at them for having my prescriptions for several days and not filling them, for no other reason than they were busy. I feel like 3/5 times I come here, it is metaphorically "on fire". Two days ago I went here in the middle of the day and the entire store was closed. The time I went before, the pharmacist came up to the counter drenched in sweat and actively panting; I have no idea what the context was. The time before, the entire pharmacy was filled with obviously sick and coughing people like something out of a movie about peasants in Soviet Russia, while a man screamed at the pharmacist about insulin. I'm not sure it's their fault, but it's hard to ignore the feeling that there is always some sort of problem actively happening here.

Went into this location to get my minor Autistic son some passport photos on 7/28/2022, and let me just say Thank you! Thank you! Thank you. Thank you to the two lovely, kind and super patient associate and their manager for all your help. I was a little nervous at first because I know people judge but they didn't! They went above and beyond to ensure they got a really good photo. Thank you Ladies! Your kindness was very much appreciated!!!

Very bad and rude photo service. But also be aware of potential discrimination in this particular store.Walgreen passport photo service is not functioning properly now. My father need foreign passport photo, both hard copies as well as digital copy. We went to the other store twice before this store without success. Either they gave us blurry photo or they give us over exposed (too bright) photo. The passport photos got rejected due to inferior quality twice. But something is even worse about store. We switched to this store, hoping for a better luck. The guy who came to the photo booth was cold and rude as soon as he heard that we were coming for foreign passport photo. He first told us that he can not change the photo size to foreign passport. I told him that their system has the choice for different sizes for almost all the countries in the world. He continues with that he is not allowed to change the exposure blah blah blah (then why their photo machine has all those editing functions and their employees in other stores all use it?).I insisted for a retake. He finally did it with couple quick snaps. He did not check the head position (both ears needs to show up in a passport picture, which is not the case in my father's picture). He did not give us a chance to see all the pictures and select the best one. He just randomly click one and printed it, ignoring our question regarding the head position. Finally, I reminded him that I also purchased the softcopy and it needs to be replaced also. He claimed it is saved in the flash drive. But it turned out nothing is saved in the flash drive when we got home. This Walgreen should be more on its staff's ethics and professionalism.
