Honestly I love this Dollar general because the manager Mrs. Melinda is a sweetheart. She welcome my family & I with open arms. She is very jovial & has respect for her customer. She always ask how am I doing. The store has changed alot to better since Mrs.Melinda became manager. I go there almost everyday to get everything I need.
Patty is also a sweetheart & makes me feel comfortable shopping, very caring. Thank you ladies.♥️

Someone should educate their staff on customer service 101 so that when a customers card declines they don’t announce that they have “insufficient funds!” 🥴 politely say their card isn’t working so they can refrain from embarrassing the guest. 🙃

Clean and busy store. Had a bit less to offer in the home goods sections but this store sees some high traffic. Whole front end of the store smelled like onions from the Subway next door tho

This store gets a lot of traffic and is not the biggest store so seems crowded and tight. A lot of times they are low on stock because of the number of customers they get. Hamlin is the closest shopping place for a lot of the developments in the area thus a lot of people. This store always seems a mess to me so I don’t shop here anymore.

Apparently the Dollar General store in Hamlin PA, does not participate in pick up orders for handicapped individuals despite what your App and website state. I have placed orders for pick up and have been refused and my orders have been cancelled after arriving to the store. Was told by DG employees that they wont process my order.

Between staff closing the store early on multiple occasions and the staff just being rude and miserable I'll go out of my way to go to Mt Cobb. I get everyone has a bad day now and then but these women are always so miserable , nasty, and disrespectful
