Split Rock Lodge offers a variety of experiences for guests, set in a scenic location with beautiful views and numerous amenities. The lodge features nicely renovated and clean rooms, some with stunning views and updated decor, including a bedroom with a Jacuzzi tub and a main space with a dining table and beautiful lighting. However, some rooms have issues such as uncomfortable sofas, a non-functional kitchenette lacking basic appliances, and locked windows that limit ventilation. The outside areas are not always well maintained, and noise from adjacent rooms can be loud, especially in rooms with door-to-door access. The lodge is praised for its friendly and helpful staff, both at the main lodge and the waterpark, which provides fun activities like mini golf, basketball, and a pool. Guests enjoy the onsite beach, paddleboarding, live music, and the overall atmosphere, often describing it as a wonderful place to stay whether for vacation or passing through. Many visitors appreciate the location and the variety of things to do, including nearby town center attractions like indoor waterparks, arcades, bowling, and a gym, which are generally well-maintained and enjoyable. Despite these positives, there are notable issues such as inconsistent maintenance, especially with water temperature and pool cleanliness, and disappointing dining experiences with long wait times and unseasoned food. The water quality at the main site raises health concerns, with warnings about drinking it. Overall, Split Rock Lodge is seen as a place with great potential and beautiful surroundings but is hindered by some maintenance and service issues that affect the guest experience.

The place was decent. The lake was nice, we rented a paddle board, and I enjoyed the live music. Thanks to Luis for explaining all the things we could do.
