“Very attractive, positive, and creative space for any occasion. Our family enjoyed my daughter's baby shower and a high school graduation get-together. Both events were satisfying for the host and joyful for the guest.”
“I love Curio! This is my favorite local art supplies shop. It may be the only non-chain art supplies store in the city (please correct me if I am wrong).Matt and Nicole (the owners) are friendly and very knowledgable. The have a wealth of knowledge between them and they are always happy to chat art, demonstrate their products and answer questions. This shop is excellent for a brand new hobby artist or a professional artist. The products are high quality and it is a 'no such thing as a stupid question' type environment.Stop in and check it out the next time you are in Lancaster! You will be glad you did!”
“Freiman is an incredible artist and super amicable and interesting guy. You might catch him or Bethany at the gallery depending when you stop in. Musical and magical”
“Beautifully kept site. The mansion tour was excellent. The displays are well done, but it was our guide,Cole, who made us especially glad we went. He gave a detailed, interesting talk and answered all our questions. It was not a robotic presentation. He obviously had a personal appreciation of history. I don't know how they found him, but he is a gem.”
“I looove my new witch ball! The owner was so sweet and accommodating and clearly loves her work. Her face lit up when she explained the different types of glass she works with and it made my art-loving heart so happy. Definitely stop in if you get a chance!”
“I had a piece restored by The Great Frame Up and I couldn’t be happier! They were extremely informative with my options for the piece. Also, I asked if they could recommend anyone to assist me with hanging it, as I was nervous to do it on my own due to the large size and heavy weight of the piece. They offered their own time after they closed for the day (on a Friday!) to deliver the piece and hang it.It was my first experience as a customer and I will only utilize their services moving forward. They’re the definition of customer satisfaction and should be your only consideration for framing, etc.THANK YOU!!”
“Such a lovely store, with knowledgeable and kind and go the extra mile sales staff. Beautiful and unique jewelry, and local artisan items like glass boxes. I have loved this store for decades.”
“We had a wonderful visit and chat with Lee. I fell in love with Music in the Air. Lee offered to create a piece for me. It turned out better than expected! It is perfect. Thank you Lee, I love it.”
“Kara did two kitty portraits as a Christmas gift for my brother and his wife and she nailed them both! They were both so surprised and pleased - they now occupy a place of honor on their mantle. Kara has also done portraits of my two kitties, and well and my daughters' two kitties. You can trust her with any of your pet portrait needs. She never disappoints!”
“I humbly apologize The actual incident happened Was my device crashed from result of me rapidly forcing many applications all at once With which it finally crashed while using the Google Maps app. to located your venue for upcoming works that I've complete through an application called "Procreate. Use a digital art program that I am using to create portraits and recreate landscape and cityscape copyrighted YouTube videos demonstrating how to digitally remaster landscape using the app called procreate that is an IOS app. I humbly for not following up and following through with completion of a good for you for you on my new device that I have acquired from T-Mobile Store here in Lancaster PA. “We had a wonderful experience. Rented the upstairs room for a hour for a 50th birthday. All 9 of us did a planter, plenty of containers, plants and accessories to choose from. She gave great details how to put your planter together. Everyone was super kind and helpful. It is decorated beautifully, we would highly recommend stopping here.”
“The owner Miss April is so nice and kind! We loved the venue, the floors, the high ceilings , made everything look even more beautiful! My family rented it back in 2021 for a Quince & Sweet 16 together of a couple of cousins!”
“What a great thing to do on a rainy day, museum is "free" but donation is suggested of atleast $5 a person. All art is local and up for sale, they have the information for each item down by the front desk if your interested in purchasing any. Two levels to the building, the lower has two side to check out with mostly wall art and the upstairs is one room with more sculptures. Very relaxing and fun to see someone's imagination at work”
“Lovely place, my favorite in town. Discovered this gem on accident a few years ago and I always recommend it when I hear the right person talking about their search for these products.Very helpful and friendly staff and beautiful items. Good energy all around and great to shop here to help support the many high quality and woman-led product they sell, as well as the store itself! The atmosphere is quiet and peaceful, it attracts all the right customers (and as I can see in these reviews, sends the wrong ones running).Their incense collection has been my go-to for years, now!”
“Absolutely amazing and easy time being able to tell how I wanted to frame my diploma and was even open to more of an artistic interpretation than my own. I had a lot of faith that it would be beautifully done and I was not disappointed with the outcome whatsoever.
I can't stop looking at how amazing it was done, would definitely come back for any special memories that need to be framed!
(I covered my name because I showed to some other people online!)”
