You may wonder what is the dream vacation spot? Bora bora, Europe, the Caribbean?? No. It is the avid hotel in Lancaster PA. When you walk into the room you are greated with the smell of cleaning supply and lysol and it is amazing to say the least. When i got into my bed after a long basketball tournament i felt like i was ascending into heaven. 10/10 best hotel in the universe.

This hotel is absolutely amazing. Customer service is the best. DeDe was so nice and truly was a blessing. Caleb was also great. The rooms were very clean. The breakfast was really good. Sceola Wesley, you have a wonderful team and that starts at the top with you. Kudos to you for taking time and recognizing your employees. You recognize and also display for everyone to see. I love that you do that. This Hotel was the absolute best.

The room was surprisingly small but had a king size bed and everything else that was needed. A very nice coffee bar with fresh ground beans and a nice selection of teas.

Hi there,
The location is great and we really enjoyed the morning breakfast—thank you! However, we’ve noticed some issues with the room cleanliness during our stay.
This is our third day here, and since the first day, the floors haven’t been swept or mopped. On the second day, the beds were made but the floors were still untouched. Today, only the towels were changed one of them is dirty and the trash taken out—no bed-making, and the floors are still quite dirty.
At $281 per night for Friday and Saturday, we weren’t expecting five-star service, but we did expect basic cleanliness and consistent housekeeping.
Updated: the pool was heated.
We hope they can be addressed to improve the experience for future guests. Whoever is leaving a review stating how clean the rooms are, I'm definitely questioning your quality of cleanliness and how you live.

Talk about true hospitality! Dede is the definition of it! From check-in to check-out, she made sure every aspect of my stay was just right. As someone who works in the hospitality industry myself, it’s refreshing and inspiring to see this level of care and professionalism. Dede went above and beyond, and because of her, I’ll definitely be staying here again when I’m passing through. Great hotel, great amenities, and even better service.

Nice and clean, quiet and comfortable

I am 95% certain my sheets weren’t changed from the last guest. There was hair under the sheet when I pulled it back and a broken hair tie (rubber band). We had to request someone to come up and sweep the floor bc the dust and hair was very present. The tables need to be wiped better too. Also, our room faced the street and you can hear nothing but trucks all night long.

It was a no frills hotel. Rooms were small but clean and nice. Breakfast was better than most. Staff was attentive.Rooms: Small and dorm like but clean and very usable. Nice bathroom and shower.

I have stayed here a few times for dance competitions and it is a great hotel!The staff is friendly and the hotel is super clean!It is also in a great location for all the fun things to do in Lancaster!

The hotel is located near Sight and Sound theater and was a great experience all around. The king-sized room was nice and cozy; not to mention very clean. Breakfast was included, and it was good. Fresh ground coffee, Wow! The staff were all so kind and professional. They also seem to do whatever it takes to make your stay comfortable. We loved it!
