This place neglected a major back injury that led to my dog's death and then slit my cat's throat while they were cleaning her teeth, requiring emergency surgery. Their licenses should be revoked. If you want your pets to come out alive, I wouldn't come here. I will never step foot in another Banfield or Petsmart location ever again.

I took my dog on May 30th for a dental cleaning, I picked him up at 4:30 pm in the afternoon, the person who gave me the instructions did not tell me to give him soft food, he only recommended his normal food in the That night, when I got into the car, my dog had a cough, his collar had been put on very tight. He spent Tuesday night peacefully with a lot of sleep, on Wednesday he was stable, he ate well, he didn't eat soft food because it wasn't recommended to me and the girl who speaks Spanish didn't like how she addresses clients in this case, I didn't. He has absolutely no kindness... on Thursday morning, he ate well, after half an hour he vomited and my little dog immediately collapsed to the ground, and he died, I couldn't feel his breathing, I ran to the nearest clinic, they helped me but It was impossible for him to survive, he was already dead. Today is the 4th and the Banfiel clinic is still knowing that my dog Jio died 4 days ago because the emergency clinic called them when Jio was already deceased to find out about the procedure they had done on him, and I don't want that now that I'm writing to you here respond to me apologizing like everyone else who gives a bad opinion of you because it would be a great lack of respect if after 4 days since my dog died you haven't even called me and now with my comment you want to apologize like you do with the other clients, the girl Who speaks Spanish needs to have more professional ethics to deal with clients who are not bilingual, I am not going to leave this like this, my dog is not here but I stayed to go to the end of this... he was healthy, he did not have to die before 48 hours…I am writing this today the 5th that I passed by the clinic, and they still have the lack of respect to respond to me here and not call me, of course they could not know that my dog had died because it was always in Miami and Las Vegas, which was where I lived previously after his dental cleaning, the next day they called me to find out how my dog had progressed, but here in this clinic they never called me to find out how I was doing after a procedure with general anesthesia, they only called me when my dog was anesthetized to take out a little tooth and charge me 390 dollars, so if they call...

Called because I had an emergency with my pup over the weekend, the girl I spoke to on the phone was zero help told me they couldn’t see him, and then proceeded to just hang up before she did I quickly asked where else I could go, she proceeded to say “a pet emergency hospital” before I could say anything the call was over, called another vet and the woman gave me the address the name and the phone number to an emergency vet in the area also while squeezing an appointment for my pup at their office (not a banfeild) incase the wait was too long at the pet emergency, long story short my boy will not be going back to banfeild.

The best experience! I took my 6 months old Akita there. He was in full defense mode but the staff was very patient and compassionate! Dr. Politowas amazing she even sat on the floor so she can be eye leveled with him. They were able to cut his nails thankfully ❤️ I’m so happy with my service

Worst place to ever take any of your pets, they will lie to you about your pets condition and just want to keep collecting money from you. They told us there was nothing they could do for our dog and his cyst and a heart murmur and assured us that it was no big deal. After taking our pet to another vet they explained to us how serious the heart mur mur is and they drained and removed all his cyst. If only we would have taken him sooner we would have saved so much money and our pet would have been living a happier healthy life sooner! Do not trust these people all they want is to take your money and truly don’t treat your animals with the care they deserve.

They're actually terrible. If your pet has no anxiety and no medical issues, sure, go here. If your pet has any special needs, medical isues, special medications, or you need advice, DO NOT GO HERE. The vet couldnt even give me advice when I called in to ask about something my cat ingested. They were unable to successfully examine our cat at any of our 5 visits. one of the visits we actually were called to come get our cat because they didnt want to pick him up. What kind of vet can't handle a cat?! I don't think anyone here is trained more than a few days so they are constantly taking your money and never actually providing any services. I think they weighted my cat one time. What a waste of $400 a year for their membership. We are cancelling and getting a REAL veterinarian who actually has the education and skills to care for our pet. We had to take him to an emergency vet clinic just for checkups because they apparently can't see your cat unless they're asleep.

I just wanted to follow up with my experience with Banfield.I received a response to email the care team so I went ahead and sent an email explaining my situation again I was then sent an email to please put name on account , pets name and phone number in the account and I will recieve a response within 48 hours.Yep it's been a month with no response I am figuring they won't .I will definitely let anyone I know not to do business with Banfield They show no compassion and literally as long as you pay them a premium you are ok but still a number to them

All the staff was very nice and caring. They are understaffed (much like everywhere else) and still managed to get me in and out in a pretty good time frame. They had nothing but lovely things to say about my dog, and answered all of my questions about the wellness plans they offer.

I love Banfield. Over the years they have always done so well with my “baby” Bronx. You can tell their love of animals and I always feel comfortable when he’s in their hands. When pets are like family, trusting in your vet is important, that why we stay at Banfield. The staff is caring and we have always had a positive experience. I also love the option of the wellness plans. Saves $$$.
