I utilize this bank for my auto loan who I originally had with Capital One. It has been over three years now. Due to financial hardship like several people now in days, I could not afford to the spike in auto insurance with Liberty Mutual. I was able to get a good rate with Progressive so being that I only get paid every two weeks, that by the time I purchased the new insurance I lapsed insurance for two weeks. Belco is charging me $269 to cover that time frame smh. I had full coverage plus another vehicle for less than that! On top of that I have a debt protection plan that I pay every month on top of my payments that is useless. They cannot waive the fee or anything. When I was reading the letter they sent me it says they will apply the fee to my loan and will gain interest off that. It’s disgusting in so many ways. I owe less than 8 thousand on my vehicle, I am trying my hardest to pay it off so I don’t ever have to deal with them again!! Loyalty and being a consistent customer doesn’t mean shyt to these companies!!

I will never deal with this bank again. They lie. We were sent a email stating we would get a 6.24% rate on a refinance auto loan. Noting we did not look for a refinance loan but they prequalified us because of our credit. so after it was all said and done they told us that we were going to get a 6.99% rate. Our credit took a hit for no reason because they did not give us the rate they stated to us. Liars and connivers. People are trying to trust in other folks and this is what you get. Stay away.

Don’t bother banking here! They never process your money correctly then charge you an overdraft for something that was their fault, and will only wave a overdraft fee once per year, it’s crazy my account overdrafted by 1 cent, a literal penny and I was charged a 35$ fee and they won’t reverse it because my card was skimmed a few months back and someone used it and overdrafted my account after some fighting they fixed that overdraft and the negative balance but I’m now being told because they refunded that which was obviously not my fault that there’s nothing they can do about a fee that they charged… not dealing with this bank anymore

Horrible bank to do business with. Once my affairs are settled I am NEVER using Belco again and I definitely don’t recommend them. They lie and legit steal your money!

I stopped at the Oregon Pike Belco without an appointment to close an account for a deceased love one. Two tellers helped walk me through the process. It was easy and seamless. I live out of state, but if I were local, I would definitely bank here based upon the customer service I received today.

I am very satisfied with the services from Ms. Lauren Hampton in person and online at Belco Community Credit Union. She is very pleasant and helpful.

After shopping around, we chose Belco as our mortgage provider. Not only did they have a great rate, but more importantly, we felt at home. Jim (James) Mahler took exceptional care of us during our home buying process. He was fast, accurate, passionate, caring, and flexible. It didn't matter if we had a question during the evening or weekend, he was there for us. I wouldn't recommend another place besides Belco for a family member or friend. I'd specifically tell them to request Jim! Jim and Belco made life easy.

Very set aside by the ethics of both belco and their attorneys Martian law. Both still trying to capitalize on my misfortune and ongoing cancer treatment. The stress they have caused me and my family seems illegal.

I've long been a fan of Belco since they first came to town in the early 90's. I've always appreciated the member services they offer, free checking, loans, member events, and educational seminars. I also like their online banking although they do change it often and preferred earlier versions to what they have now. They also offer online bill pay through a third party which has been problematic at times. While this location is close to work, it's not the one I frequent most often. However with "my branch" having so many unexpected closings due to maintenance issues as of late I find myself coming here more and more. I prefer to visit the lobby for faster service and rarely is there a line. The drive thru does take longer here since they don't have a designated drive thru teller and she shuttles back and forth between walk in and drive thru customers. This location also has a coin sorter. Something my regular branch doesn't have. It's been many years since I've used it but when I did it was required that I deposit the balance. I'm not sure if that has changed. Included in Belco membership is all the cool events they host for their members that goes above and beyond what a bank will do. Free Easter Egg hunts for the kids, Safari club rewards for small savers, as well as educations seminars and services. I've now been a member for about 25 years and it's safe to say will remain a member for life unless they move away from this area.

Most of the staff know how to talk to members, but some exhibit tendencies of a sociopath. If you continue to get berated on the phone by any of the staff at this branch, do yourself a favor and tell them you will take your business elsewhere. The common comeback is "well you can do what you want.", but I sincerely doubt that's what business executives want you telling the people that contribute to the overall profit margin of a business.
