The staff here were incredibly nice and knowledgeable. They fixed up my son’s Dino (because of course he’s hard on his stuffies) and we walked out of there with 5 new friends 🤦🏽♀️ Admittedly, one was mine so I can’t completely blame the children 🤣

Such a fun place to take your children really this place is any kids dream. We had a great experience being that the kids were able to build their own stuff bears and the staff were very friendly and nice. I will say the only downside is build a bear of course as many, know is very expensive, but they did have cheaper bears for $16 dollars each and that was really nice to see so definitely a deal there and also they gave me a free $10 gift card so can’t really complain. Especially when there were other options then rather then spending $40 on a bear 🐻

Our daughter loves her bear and I think she liked making it her own, but I was over all underwhelmed by the experience. I guess I thought there would be some guidance through the process.

Absolutely enraged at this location. Brought my 3 yr old in to use a gift card she received a couple weeks ago for her birthday. My daughter really wanted the chameleon. They told us they had one but it was partially stuffed because a child had changed their mind. They said we could finish stuffing it and still put her heart in it. We were given the animal that was still open and less than half stuffed. Stood in the stuffing line for 30mins. Only to have the person tell my daughter to pick a heart that the worker then put in herself and sewed up the half stuffed chameleon. Never asked my daughter to squeeze it to see if it was okay nothing. Just sewed it up. I told her it needed more stuffing she completely ignored me. At this point I'm so mad I go to pay for the animal with the gift card they tell me. O this is a $10 gift card when clear as day it says right on it that it is a $25 gift card. They tell me to call customer service and then give me a phone number that doesn't work. Absolute insanity. My daughter was cheated out of an experience because the staff were lazy and didn't care about the kids they are supposed to be there for.

I just paid $53.24 for a bear and when I was going to name my bear, they denied the name I was trying to give him twice. Stating it was inappropriate. The name was Cherry Blossom. There was only one nice person in the store who helped me build the bear but everyone else was incredibly rude. No one told us to have a good day after purchasing or anything, they gave us the name, a dirty look and sent us on our way. Don’t ever go to this specific build a bear.

Came into store to get a pre-purchased bear stuffed. Waited in the stuffing line for 1/2 hour. The manager then came up and said we were in the wrong line. She said we had to go to the back of the line that now went out the door. That line was not there when we got there. I told her we had been there this whole time and she said it didn't matter. We had to go to the back of that line.

So today we held my daughters 4th birthday party here and let me tell you....this staff was truly amazing! They were so helpful, extremely patient, very sweet, and really ontop of everything. Cheyenne (who was learning to do her first party) was really kind and did wonderful! Gabby (who was training Cheyenne) absolute joy! She was well rounded in knowledge about her job. She was able to help guide the kids AND adults in what to look at, what fits what bear, and everything in between. My family is in no way Karen's but we are A LOT to handle all at once lol GIVE THESE LADIES A RAISE! 10/10 would recommend 👌🏽 👏🏽 thank you for making my daughters day so magical and filled with love and joy 😊

We went for my son’s 1st birthday bear. There were only 3 other people shopping. We got our bear and directed in line behind another little girl celebrating her birthday too. She had 2 stuffies and they had just started. The other staff member walked around and then took the adults who were ready to stuff their animal and we were still over here waiting in our line. She had stuffed their animal, helped them pick out an outfit and checked them out…all while we were still in line waiting to get our bear stuffed. With our 1yo who didn’t want to wait longer and wasn’t allowed to walk around because he had grip socks on and not shoes. Finally after she was done helping those adults she said they we could come over to her and get it stuffed. After we went to check out, we wanted to do the bundle and she said we couldn’t because we didn’t get the sound. I said okay that’s fine. She said “that’s why I asked if you wanted it when stuffing”…no no you didn’t but whatever. At this point we were annoyed and just wanted to leave. Won’t be coming back.

This place had zero energy, like if you’re going to be a kid store you need to be more friendly. We went there for my baby’s two year old birthday and she hated it because the experience was horrible..so sad. Yall looked like you didn’t even wanna be there. What happened to giving the bear a kiss and a hug where was the interactive part??? You had one job and you failed. I will never come here again. Honestly wish I never came to this location. Get better workers who actually want to be there.

What a magical afternoon we had when we stopped at the Build-A-Bear store in Lancaster. All of the employees were very helpful. Peyton did a magical job of adding music to our bears. Then she warmed the bears hearts with a magical saying that warmed our hearts as well. She was as precious as the bears themselves! After our bears were filled, where is that huge variety of outfits and accessories to dress your new friend in. We loved the entire experience!

There is no reason to close BEFORE the mall other than pure laziness. Turning away a paying customer because you'd like to go home early is unacceptable and childish.
