CVS is relying to heavily on their poorly operating self checkouts. Today only 1 took cash, and no one was up front or anywhere to be found in the store. Two ladies came up, ignored the line, didn’t help the older gentlemen using the only cash only. Then the man’s machine went off, they came up, didn’t ask if he needed help, just reset it and walked away. He needed help, and struggled. Finally I went to the pharmacy to check out, where the pharmacist rolled his eyes, didn’t say anything to me but called the front associate up. She finally came up to help the man and ring us all out. The customer service at cvs has been like this for a long time and it’s continuing to go downhill. Obvi management and corpos don’t care.

I have shopped at this particular store since the day it opened. This weekend was the worst experience I've ever had. I needed a prescription refilled. I received a text at 11:00am that it was ready for pickup. When I arrived the pharmacy was closed. I looked at the hours posted, then checked my watch. It was 1:38pm.
This prescription is for my asthma. The current inhaler as all but exhausted. If I had an attack I wouldn't have had a rescue.
What's going on at this store? This has happened to me in the past. Ever since my favorite pharmacist, Richard, left it has not been the same.
Don't get me wrong. I DO intend to patronize this store.

The inside layout is a nice change from others but the pharmacy has few employees. The two that I did encounter were busy & unpleasant.

If I could I would give it zero stars, an employee named Gary is very racist. Because we have gone shopping there, and the times he helps me he starts saying bad words in English (I speak Spanish) and since he doesn't speak Spanish, I translate for him in English with my phone, but I still help him reluctantly.

This CVS has definitley improved -- it's much cleaner and the staff is friendly and helpfulThere are lots of ways to save -- I feel guilty when I pay full price!

I would give this pharmacy zero stars if I could. I have been a CVS customer forever. I am no longer. I don't want to explain all the problems I have over the past couple of years, but many have affected my health. Especially not filling my medications in a timely manner. I would strongly suggest you take your prescriptions elsewhere if you like to make sure they will be available to you when you need them.

My flu vaccines and other inoculations have been rescheduled twice and when I went this morning for an appointment the pharmacy was closed with no known re-opening. Other local CVS' have no openings for shots and the provider claimed he was only there today and would not be back until November. What is a customer to do?!

My husband received a prescription sent to the Harrisburg Ave CVS late on the afternoon of July 3. We arrived to pick up the medication at 6:08 pm. We did not know the pharmacy closed at 6:00. The pharmacist was behind the counter. The gates were closed. I tried to get his attention. He was reluctant to engage with me. He refused to give me the medication. He said he was closed. He said the pharmacy would reopen on July 5. I would have to wait. I asked if I could get it at another CVS. He said from afar “You can try.” We did try. The pharmacist at Columbia Ave CVS said he could not fill the prescription since the other pharmacist had partially filled the order. We will not return to the Harrisburg Pike CVS, our “neighborhood” drugstore. This pharmacist should be replaced.

I recently moved to Lancaster, first time having a prescription filled at this CVS. It makes no sense for this place to be open until 11 if the pharmacy closes at 7 (now 6, more on that later). What can I get there that I can't get for less anywhere else. I attempted to pick up my prescription 4 times and each time they were closed when the schedule had them open. They said it was an emergency. I'm completely out of my medication...that's my emergency, but the staff had no answers. This last time they reduced the pharmacy hours from 9 to 7 to 10 to 6. Effective today, I'm a Walgreen's customer.
