Dollar General Lancaster offers everyday essentials at affordable prices from right around the corner. The store is usually stocked well and clean, but prices for items are often higher than at Wal Mart, Giant or Target. There is usually a long line with one employee running the whole show, though self‑checkout registers help. Parking is good and the location is convenient. Most items are in stock and there is a lot of variety, though the floors can be a little dirty. Office staff handled a purchase problem excellently, showing the store is well managed. Customers can also use the myDG program and the store sells Tobacco.
This place needs new management. The store is closed regularly for little to no reasons. The self checkout register never works and they never add cashier's when the line is long.
