Everence was the bank my parents used for about twenty years. I set up an account when I was around 12 (2017). Their audio teller works well and did me right for many years. When I got a phone of my own I used their app ndthat was convenient. I could subdivide my account and put money aside for different things. I had one checking, one for credit card payments, one for savings, and one for expenses. It was easy to transfer between other members. Overall their banking experience is good outside the credit union. The last I knew they lacked the modern banking conveniences (tap pay cards, zelle, plaid, etc…). I got my credit started and decided to go in for a car loan. This was the beginning of the end for me. My rep was Natalya. I emailed her a few times leading up to our initial meeting and she was fine. When I got to the bank to pick up the check and finalize the loan she gave an air of disdain. I felt very much spoken down upon and she made it clear she did not think I was making a wise decision. Every interaction with her after that was terrible. I was trying to add someone to the title of the car and she balked heavily. There was one time she ignored phone calls and e-mails for a week. In the end Natalya is the reason I left Everence and went elsewhere with all my banking and my family’s banking. Several of the tellers were very nice and helpful. Overall banking with Everence was good, Natalya is the issue and the reason I can’t give Everence five stars as a whole.

We had a great experience today as our kids have accounts here as well as our joint account and it was very easy to come in and withdraw some money. The teller was very helpful and friendly and it was a great Bank interaction for our kids.

I've gone twice to use them as co-op banking since I moved to the area from the east coast of Florida. Both times had been a headache with them pulling up my account to do any deposits or withdrawals. I ended up having to go to midflorida to do my transactions.ccno problem there finding me. I would have opened an account with them if they had a branch in nokomis.

The plus. Its not for profit community bank with shared values and morals. Nice clerks that are good at their job. Nice atmosphere.With the repeal of Glass-Steagall this is a good place to bank.The negative. Limited banking services. The former head loan department and current bank manager Natalia H. is a tyrant. Putin 'esque' level. Very judgemental, non empathetic and holds many bias' both external and internal.Almost which I hate to say she is borderline prejudice. That prejudice seeps thru in her banking be it management style and to loans.

Get an account with Everence! They are super friendly, great to work with, and offer really fantastic benefits for special things like electric cars and other clean energy stuff.

Someone used my card and charged $900. It was not me. They never notified me. I found out about it on my own on Sat. evening 3/20/22 when they were closed. Their phone number sent me to after-hours disputes. I was told they blocked the card but I would have to call the Credit Union to dispute the charge. I tried again Sun. and got a different person but the same story. So I called back Monday at 9:00am and got a third person, I still did not get the credit union. This 3rd person said they could not find the charge on the account, but l still saw it on my account. The last thing they had on our account was several days ago 3/11/22. I looked that up and it was a valid charge. I told him the woman Sat. evening said she would block the account. He checked and the account was STILL OPEN. So I asked him to cancel the account. He did and gave me a reference number. He also said I should call Everence about the disputed charge that he could not help me with that. I looked up the number online and it was different. However, when I called it all I got was a voice mail that they would call me back.

I have banked with Everence for over 20 years. In that time i have had personal loans, auto loans, a business account and business loans as well as credit cards. I have never had a negative experience, the staff are friendly and helpful, the loan processes are fair and efficient. They have been growing the ease of use for their mobile banking. Im confident that anyone who has negative feedback about them, did not give them the time of day to receive help with their problem. Love this bank

I would like to start by saying, I been a member for about 9 years. When the bank was small with another name. The service was much better. Once the bank changes its name with more locations, the service that is given now is very bad including on the phone. I order a debit replacement and it has been two months and so far, each time a card is sent is wrong of a total of three cards. Then each time I call they seem they always make it my fault and want to charge me a $10.00 fee for the cards which is ridiculous because in the past when they were a small credit union, the card replacement fee was only $5.00. Also, they have phone service but it always seems no one picks up when you need help. As a business owner, dealing with people and companies is very important to me, because I want all my things done properly without mistakes. Another time was when I started my business. I wanted to give them the opportunity to handle my business finances by having a business checking account on the Lincoln Highway East branch. When I got there they asked me if I have all my documents the way I'm registered with my states. Upon setting everything properly, I have seen they wanted to set me up with my name un DBA when I exclusive am register as LLC. I explain that my business checking account has to be open under my business name not with my personal name, and they said it has to be done this way. After arguing with them and showing proof of my Business entity, they still didn't care. Meanwhile, after leaving and going to another bank the same day, I open a business account without any problems. I feel they don't care for their service and reputation. I wouldn't recommend this bank to know one. Take your money and your business somewhere else.
