I used the pickup feature frequently, several months ago I picked up an order with payment by credit card. After pickup I stopped at a store and when I used same card it was blocked. On investigation the card was shutdown for suspicious activity for my purchase at Giant. On the account appeared 2 additional charges. My purchase was for $21* dollars, additionally there were 2 additional charges for $23+ from Giant.
I called the store and they couldn’t explain the charges and directed me to giant directly. I then contacted the card co and acknowledged to them that the $21+ charges was valid and could be accepted. They then cancelled the card to send me a new one which takes 7-10 days.
Weeks later I received and email from Giant Direct that my $21 charges were declined. Unable to call that department directly they gave me a questionnaire to complete. I was totally in aware the charge was no made. I completed the request and twice the email came back undeliverable. Weeks later the only CS number I could reach could not help me and merely gave me same address to send a response to. Evidently they do no want to receive calls. I told CS I only wanted to talk to someone that could help me. Evidently supervisor don’t want to be bothered either and they informed me all I could do is send an email and hung up.

I'm about to cancel this app : The app itself is horrible and the delivery service is lousy . To many times I've received expired food and the last order the block of cheese was nothing but MOLD , DISGUSTING ! And the fruit is rotten . The people picking orders are worthless so I'll just Go to another supermarket and actually see what I'm buying . MONEY WASTED and forget trying to get an actual human on the phone .

Used pick up many times. They're good. Two major problems for me are the website and the picking of produce. Site freezes and hitting the back button sometimes takes me home instead of where I was. Today, it took me as long to order as it would have to drive and shop the order myself. Got 3 fresh corn today. Threw one out: mold on the outside leaves and inside on the corn. Asked for only 3 bananas and got 8.

I was upset with Giant direct today 😔😔😤😤 I have a window form 2pm to 4pm and there don't show up in my window there should up a hour later and I miss going to church because I work on Sunday 😭😥😥😥 can't pleas get my money and or paint thanks you I use love you guys not today

Not an actual grocery store anymore. This is a pickup and delivery hub now. Terrible decision to close a grocery store right in the middle of the city. Walk up order tablets were abandoned and the door was locked 2 hours before the closing time.

I’ve only ever ordered delivery this first time. Was pleased with all except the bananas I received! They are inedible! Totally black. If I can post a picture I will.

I order grocery delivery about every week because I NEVER get all of my items!!!! I have no car to get to a physical store and rely on Giant delivery for my food. I’m always missing important things such as 3 out of the 4 half gallons of lactose free milk that I ordered. I once ordered things necessary to make meatball subs just to NOT get any of the ground beef I ordered. Why the hell do I want the stuff for meatball subs without the ground beef I need to make them??? Then you reorder and have to pay MORE SERVICE FEES AND MORE TIPS FOR THE DRIVER. I’M TIRED OF ITTTTTT!!!!!

Was a waste of my time and money. The website worked well and the bags brought to my car quickly. However, I drove all the way home before I realized my ham and turkey(Christmas dinner) was missing. I returned to the store and was told it was out of stack, and the system should’ve notified me. It didn’t, and neither did the young lady who put my bags in the trunk. I then had to enter the store that was crowded. Which is why I used the Direct service, and to my surprise the items I ordered were there and not out of stock. I wouldn’t use this service, unless you enjoy wasted time and frustration.

Was extremely disappointed with my giant direct order...order was late, bread/buns were stale...didn't substitute laundry pods if out, just wiped them off order!! Plus the driver expected hubby who was outside to help carry groceries from truck to the door. Second time ordering from them...will rethink next time!!!

I’m finished. I had quit Giant Direct a few months ago when I found myself waiting 15-30 minutes for my order and then had substitutions that made no sense (like subbing fish sticks for chicken tenders). Today, they were an hour behind, so I had to push back my plans. I arrived when they said to and called in. Was told it would be a few minutes. 10 later—with no one attending to the other two cars, I went in. Only then did I read the ridiculous substitutions. I told them I would like them taken off. The two women there just laughed and said they needed to get their person back who knew that and didn’t know where she was. I cancelled the entire order and shopped for myself.
Goodbye Giant. I can get gas points at Weis. **Update**Just received a call from Giant Direct following up on my order for today...that I never picked it up.

We’re going to stop using giant direct. Every week we receive the worst produce, missing items, etc. We have gone back two weeks in a row to exchange things. When we complained we were told to just go get the correct items on our own. Super rude. Please work with your staff to prioritize picking edible produce. A 5lbs bag of apples - all were rotten.

The delivery drivers are wonderful. My major complaint is the produce quality that comes from this location. Every single week at least one of the produce items I order is of poor quality. This is on the day of delivery! Squishy rotting onions, brown cabbage and today's latest frustration this cauliflower.
