Happy Tails is an apt name for this veterinary hospital. One of my cats has anxiety about visiting the vet due to a previous experience at a different hospital. The doctors and vet techs are professional and patient with my little worrier. My pets are loyal patients!

i love Happy Tails very much and will always pass it on to other people to come here, but this morning when i came whoever the skinny brown haired lady with glasses is, she's rude. didn't greet me, waited for me to get to the counter staring at rudely the whole way, and when i do get to the counter "Hi." she needs to fix her attitude. very disappointing and only made my mood worse when already having a bad day. hope she doesn't treat other people like that.

Lilly needed her rabies vaccine and weight check. Only needed to see a vet tech...all are friendly, caring and helpful.

I transferred my pets here after hearing good things about Dr. Hodges. But I believe maybe the problem with this practice is they just grew too fast too quickly. This is probably an OK practice for routine visits. For older, pets, and complex issues I highly recommend Locating a different practice. One of my last visits included a temporary fill-in vet, because Dr. Hodges was out of the office again. The vet highly recommended Librela for Hind end weakness for my almost 14 yo whippet. Another regular vet ftom the practice also highly recommended it for my dog. Surprised to see this new vet walk in, I asked if she was familiar with my dogs case. She shrugged. My 14 year-old whippet almost died after the librela injection. I spoke to numerous other vets, who had knowledge that you do not give this drug to a dog with liver and adrenal issues . My dog also had neurological issues, that were never discovered by this practice. That, Or, the librela caused neurological issues. Even after all of that, the vet said, she wasn’t convinced that librela did this, basically not wanting to take responsibility. Let’s see great blood results pre librela and almost dead a week post librela. If you’re the type of person who wants seamless and high end care for your pets don’t go here. Customer Service severely lacks. I ran into one of the vets on the street whom actually suggested I overdo my care. Front desk staff are stressed and show it.It’s been 2 months since the librela shot and my dog isnt eating. During My last call to the practice, I was told by a staff member that I push back every time. She was frustrated with me.Maybe that’s because when I asked for bloodwork because I have a sick dog, the front desk said it’s not indicated in the records. What should have she said . “ OK, I’ll be happy to schedule that for you” and then go check with Dr. Hodges. When I sent an email asking for antibiotics, the same ones that had been dispensed many times when my dog stopped eating, I was told Dr. Hodges wasn’t in the office. No solution - definately not wanting to help but bringing up that I always push back. I really don’t understand this kind of customer service and care. Please double check your paperwork too because the dates on my rabies certificate didn’t match the dates on their records so it is quite possible the rabies shot would have been given at an incorrect time. Apparently they didn’t like it when I asked for clear and accurate health records. With one of my cats, they set up a wellness visit and then contacted me 3 months later for immunizations. Obviously it would have benefitted everyone if these appointments had been combined into one.I have other similar examples. If you have older pets, or need special care, I recommend Manor Pine Creek. I was at Happy Tails for two years and at Pine Creek for two days. The care and customer service at manor pine creek is so good it’s uncomparable.

Dr. Hodges and Amber were great with my Persian cat! They answered any questions I had and my cat seemed to have very little stress! The office was clean and everyone was super helpful and knowledgeable!

Been taking my pets to happy tails for over a year now, my 1 cat has an ongoing issue, which I been picking up meds monthly, no problems until last month. I received a call over a week after I got meds asking if I had a receipt or proof I paid told them I payed cash was told ok great. I received a message to call back I did, was told it's OK, don't worry about it. Needed to get prescription food called them ahead of time they said be ready for Pick up. I sent my son in with cash to pick up he was in long time I called was put on hold, I went inside here they were questioning my son! No one else around I was upset, thought so unprofessional was told lady had no right to tell me it's was OK said I still owed 67.95 plus a late charge like what? I told them I'm not paying twice for something I understand their situation I offered to split the cost they said had to talk to Dr. Hodges got call saying won't refill prescription unless cat seen, which they told me they have no idea what is wrong with him after numerous tests over the past months and I still owe the 67.95 I'm not paying twice! And it brings me to a situation that I was told not to leave while they did bloodwork I asked them if they could call me with results they told me to just stay in office I did 40 mins later bloodwork results came back fine time to pay for visit and was told owed an additional 60 dollars because was there longer then 30mins. Told them I'm not paying additional when I was told to wait they grumbled about it but Said let you go this time. Now saying I didnt pay for meds when I did, I filed police report because that's theft of my money, and I'm going elsewhere to me if they try to rip you off twice who knows what will happen 3rd time. I did like the place but if money is so scarce for them that they have to put a client through the emotional havrok like they did to my son and I for such a small amount it's scary.

Our dog has extreme anxiety, like bite through door frames and metal baby gates level anxiety. She broke off one bottom tooth and then the other from extreme separation anxiety. Dr. Battah is a skilled canine dental surgeon, and performed both of her dental surgeries. I have recommended him several times at the dog park when dog parents have said they needed a canine dental surgeon and their vet told them they would need to go to Philly. He is also a great all around vet. Extremely kind and caring with pets, and also a really great person. We have followed him when he has moved his practice because he knows our pets and cares about their well being. This was our first time seeing Dr. Battah at Happy Tails and we felt very welcomed. Dr. Battah has had the same vet tech for 17 years, she is also fantastic. The other office staff were all very friendly and efficient. The pricing is reasonable and completely transparent. They have an online account management which is helpful when I need a copy of records for the groomer or boarding. Overall we are extremely happy with Dr. Battah and Happy Tails.

Had a great first experience at Happy Tails. When I called to make an appointment, the receptionists were friendly, informative and helpful. The vet assistant and vet were so kind and friendly and welcoming to my kitten and me. They were laid back , easy going and knowledgable. I was able to ask them my questions and they provided well informed answers. You could tell they loved animals and loved their jobs! I will be back!

Happy Tails was absolutely incredible with my anxious kitty. The vet took her time with making sure my kitty was not anxious when getting her vaccinations. The vet put calming pheromones on a towel for her and even gave her cheese wiz to distract my kitty when getting her temperature taken and when she got her shots. She took the time in making sure my cat was good and healthy. Thank you!

I am very grateful for the attention of all the Happy Trail staff, they did everything possible to save my dog when I arrived with Yiyo dead in my arms from my house with the hope that he was still alive, when they saw me running from My car to the door with him in my arms did not hesitate to run to assist him without asking for money before trying to survive him as they usually do in most clinics. An excellent staff, they love their job. Thank you very much for your great help and emotional support to my family. God bless you.Mi casa está vacío sin Yiyo. Lo extrañamos mucho. Partió feliz de el buen trato que recibió ya fallecido en Happy Trail y de el amor incondicional que siempre le brindamos..

Very happy with Dr Hodges the practice owner. She explains everything in detail and answers all my questions thoroughly. Never feel rushed at all. She actually gets down on the floor and plays with my Rottweilers. Office staff is always very pleasant also.

I absolutely loved this place. They took such great care of my cats. I just switched vets recently because it's too far of a drive now but I would recommend this place to all pet parents.

Wiley Wales is gone now but wanted to send his photo and a poem I wrote to celebrate his life! His care over the last few years at Happy Tails was exceptional!
