I really don't like that you have to have a credit card to rent a vehicle from here. Not everyone has or even wants a credit card

These people are rude and disrespectful. Honestly racist as well. I called before I went so I was aware of the high deposit and credit check. Told them who I was and I'd be there in 10 minutes. Once I arrived the same person treated me like I stole one of the cars as soon as I walked in. Even told me different information. Then the deposit was 800 and I had to have at lease a 750 credit score. Once I said I had both they went from having plenty of cars to just renting out the last one.

Had a great experience. That was until I dropped off the rental and noticed I left my sunglasses in the sunglasses compartment, and when I went back to get them they told me they were gone. Somebody at Hertz had stolen my new Ray Banz

The old man behind the counter was friendly and helpful. The car was clean and they emailed me my receipt. That's all I ever ask for when renting a car. Solid place.

I've been with Hertz Gold for over 12 years. This is the worst experience I've had to date.Rented a car for a long weekend, and when the car malfunctioned ("Engine Malfunction") - I called the number on the paper, and was instructed to go to the closes Hertz location to replace.Obviously, when I saw that, I didn't drive around the city looking for a gas station, as I was concerned the car wouldn't make it.When I arrived at the other location, I spent 2 hours there, because the location in Lancaster is a licensee location, and the other location wasn't able to close out the agreement. We called the location in Lancaster, and the gentleman there stated he can't help since his boss isn't in. And I had to wait till Monday.I had to get another contract under my name, and get charged again.Upon returning my new rental to Lancaster I placed the new contract, along with a note requesting to call me back and make sure we're all aligned.Instead I ended up paying for the 1/2 tank of gas = $68! On top of my Lancaster rental, and the other car rental.This is the last time I'm renting from this location. They lost a VERY loyal customer.

My car was towed while vacationing. While it's incredibly inconvenient the tow yard is also located here and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Wendy from Hertz at Lancaster Fleet and Auto, was VERY helpful when my 20 year old son needed to rent a car. She assisted us in getting the Youthful Driver Fee waived, based on his AAA membership. She also assisted us in electronically removing the insurance fee, after we added collision coverage to our policy, so we didn't have to do so in-person, since the Hertz location hours were inaccessible due to my son's work hours. Highly recommended!
