The only place to go for Chinese food. Imperial Shrimp is incredible! Soups are flavorful and delicious! We've been eating at Hong Kong Garden since it opened. Every time we try another Chinese restaurant, we wish we hadn't.

Delicious Chinese food! I've been finding it hard to find a Chinese place that's consistent with their food. This place is! Their pepper steak is best I've had! Their egg rolls are also amazing!

HKG has the best Chinese food I have had west of Philadelphia. The owners are friendly and will remember you, the environment is welcoming, and seriously, the food. The ability to sub tofu for almost any meat is a unique and much appreciated offer, too.

This is prolly the last of the old school Chinese restaurants in Lanc. The old haunts of the punk rock crowd who remembers one from Category A, B and C. I took my GF here mainly for the memories. Is it worth going to ? That depends on you. In a different economy, in a better infrastructure, that is, in an altogether State, the answer is Yes. Check out Fats in Folsom for a comparable restaurant in Folsom, CA. But PA is just not the place to run a restaurant, and it’s really not their fault. The restaurant only has one server, and the rest of the personnel are family helping out. The food is basically food court quality — you get what you pay for, and the place is cheap.

The best Asian cuisine in the area. Take out or eat in : the dining room gets crowded fast with a bit of a wait at peak times.

The experience at Hong Kong Garden was decent but after the hype it received from my online foodie group I was left disappointed. While the ambiance was pleasant, the service felt a bit slow. The menu offered a variety of dishes, but the chicken tasted metallic and "off" to me. I'm honestly not picky especially with Chinese food but it wasn't the flavors I was expecting. The prices were reasonable, but not reflective of an exceptional dining experience. Overall, it's an average choice for Chinese cuisine in the area.

The staff was very friendly which made the brief moment there Pleasent. But that food. Was awful! The white rice was not cooked all the way. The chicken wings were literally small wings and not even fried like normal places do and it also had no flavor. The food in general was just not good at all. I am not one to give a review but like this was just not a good experience whatsoever. If I could get my money back I really would. I will make sure to keep searching for another good place because ever since Number 1 Chinese got new owners no one out here has good food here in Lancaster. If you’re planning to order here. Think again. It was not it.

We love eating there ourselves but we took our 3 young granddaughters today for lunch and they LOVED IT! The manager and server were amazing! They took care of every detail and made it a wonderful meal and experience for us all!Dietary restrictions: I'm gluten-free and have several options.Kid-friendliness: They are GREAT w kiddos but bring their sippy cups w you.Wheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs, the openings are wide and the eating area is large and leaves a good amount of room for wheelchairs.

Literally wouldn’t give me more than 3 packets of duck sauce. He told me that duck sauce is only for the appetizers and soy sauce is for rice, and told me if I didn’t like it I could go somewhere else. How are you going to tell someone what they can or can’t put on their food? ITS DUCK SAUCE!!!!! It’s really not that serious. It’s a problem every single time I come here. The food isn’t that great to deal with such terrible service.

This place was in a shopping center on Columbia Ave. The good reviews were probably about the food only. That was the only thing good about this place. The atmosphere was horrible. For a place that was clearing out from the earlier dinner crowd, and only had 4 tables left to serve for a later dinner crowd, we expected better. We were told it would be 20 min until we could get a table. We should have left at that point, but, we decided to stay and give it a try. We felt ignored the entire time we were there. From sitting down until we left after dinner, the service was terrible. We were sitting with water and tea that wasn't even hot in the metal containers they put tea in to keep hot. The tea was barely warm. The server took our order 15 minutes later. We asked about the steamed dumplings and ordered a large order. Then we ordered our dinners. The dinners come with soup, egg roll, and dessert if you get the full dinner. We both ordered the full dinner, and then we waited about 5 minutes for the soup. When the 2 egg rolls came out, there were no dumplings. The server only had one table that was the next table behind us. My booth seat was actually right in back of the booth behind me with a table of 3. He had 2 tables to serve with a total of 5 people-3 at that table and our table with just the 2 of us. He couldn't even remember the dumplings and we only ordered 3 things-steamed dumplings and 2 dinners. We were eating the egg rolls, and a few minutes later, the table behind us got their dinners. At that moment, the hostess came by and asked if we wanted new water with ice. We asked her about the dumplings that never came out. She told us she would go check and then never came back to tell us what happened to the dumplings. Oh, well. Right after that, the server brought out our dinners. I have to say the Orange Beef and the Steamed Salmon was actually really delicious. Too bad the service stinks and we probably won't be back because the experience was horrible. When we received the check, the hostess ran out as fast as she could to get the payment, but while we were sitting trying to enjoy dinner, or even before we got seated, she was slow and made us wait almost 35 min to sit down when the restaurant wasn't even crowded after the earlier crowd left. Sorry, but NO!
