Website says stores opens at 10:00 on Saturday. I get there at 10:00, it's closed. I was told it opens at 11:00 and has some COVID. Well, COVID was 5 years ago. There was plenty of time to update the hours don't you think? I have to order things online because the store selection is so poor, but when the stuff doesn't fit, it's difficult to return. The solution... don't buy from JCPenney.

I will NEVER purchase anything from JCPenney again it has been nothing but a head ache. Back in November they were running a Black Friday deal on a Serta mattress that my husband and I couldn’t pass up 18month free interest along with a $200 gift card. So we purchase it we were told by the employee Muhammad that our gift card would be sent via mail after the bed was delivered. Our bed wasn’t delivered until mid December so I gave them until after Christmas and still no gift card. I call customer service and they said “ it should be coming it may take a little longer cause of the holidays.” Ok cool understandable come January I get my first bill and I was being charged interest. Had to call and get that fixed. Now it’s February and still no gift card I go and speak to manager named Deandre. He says oh you were to fill out a paper ok so why all of sudden two months later now I have a paper o had to fill out no one gave to me or even stated I needed to fill out said paper for gift card. He told me he would figure out for me and call me. I waited a week called back another manager answers and stated “ oh Deandre is dealing with this he will call you this evening” I have still yet to get a answer. No one that works there clearly knows how to do their job properly or how to treat customers. I will be canceling my credit card as soon as this bed is paid off and I will be taking my future business to Boscovs or even Ashley furniture cause JCPenney ain’t it!!!!

Store was short staffed as I have found most Penneys’ stores understaffed. Visited the blinds section and was helped by this associate that was very helpful and user friendly

So, what's the problem with pickup & returns department @ JC Penneys Park City Mall in Lancaster, PA when there are 10 ppl in line and one customer service person. Where's the backup ?

If I could give it a zero I would. Store has ONE REGISTER and not any more staffing during
Holiday hours. Either you can’t afford staffing or you’re cutting costs. But the line that goes on forever while you have jewelry salespeople standing around watching the line is ridiculous. No customer service here. Just buy online. Spare yourself the aggravation of this store.

So shocked I received 50% of on a mystery sale coupon that I received in the mail, so today was the last day I went and found a pair of Clark's but because they were name brand I couldn't use coupon. Ok so I tried a luggage well nope name brand . Then I asked what can I get well sale only applied to items that had sale logo on it, we looked n looked and only found 4 racks that had it and I wasn't even able to buy anything. False advertisement to the fullest I dislike that.

We got our pictures taken and it was a bit of a train wreck! They were running super behind schedule and were charging everyone the wrong price for everything. Everyone seemed fairly frazzled and once we were finished we were super frazzled too. But we managed to get the pictures taken and ordered so that much was good!!

I walked in and asked a cashier for directions to the baby department. While the young lady behind the register was giving me directions, another employee (Khom) walked up to her and started talking to her about an item that had been returned, completely ignoring me. I had to say, "Excuse me, she was giving me directions when you interrupted," and then Khom glared at me like I was the problem. And we wonder why department stores are going out of business?

Fantastic stock and friendly staff. Doug at the counter was very friendly, and we had a nice chat aside from the shopping. They had what I wanted, and it was at a fair price. I was satisfied.
