With the level of customer service provided here I can understand why they are filing for bankruptcy. The fabric I came here for said on the website that there was sufficient quantities here, however the lady behind the counter told me what was out wasn't enough out and wouldn't assist any further.

Went to get two fleece fabrics for a blanket, I asked for 2.5 yards and the lady said she had only 2. I said okay I saw an extra bundle above, is there anyway I could get that and she stated “only have 2 here and I’m not leaving the counter just to grab that when I have a line.” I was appalled from the attitude given to me when I was respectful the whole time and I said okay I’ll come back and I heard her go to the next customer say “I wasn’t trying to be snippy but”. Very poor customer service

Store has a great selection of yarn, but the anti-pill fabric was all on top of the blizzard and cotton fabric. I didn’t mind but when I approached the cut-counter, the employee, Kim, was BEYOND disrespectful. I approached very nicely as I could see the store was busy, yet when I asked her about grabbing anti-pill for me at the top shelf. She very bluntly said “I don’t know what you were looking at up there, but all our anti-pill is laid out.” I was extremely taken back by this and explained that a very small selection of anti-pill was actually available to be grabbed and examined. I led her to the section and before she saw, she claimed “That’s not anti-pill.” I told her once again, it was, just the selection was very slim. She was very passive aggressive as my girlfriend and I got two yards from two bolts of fabric that were both out of our reach, on the top of the shelf where she needed to grab a ladder. I would’ve grabbed the fabric myself just to avoid this hostile and unnecessary interaction from simply asking for help from an employee. If it wasn’t for both our optimism, this would’ve completely ruined our experience at the store—when we drove from York to specifically view this store. Disappointed.

I visited this store while on vacation from South Carolina. In my opinion, the sales clerks were not kind at all; especially the little stocky, thick Caucasian lady with the greyish, white, wiry hair. Because I was from out of town, I asked for assistance because like Walmart, they are all set up differently. Instead of showing me where the items were, she pointed. When I asked specifically what she was pointing at, she got a nasty attitude and began to tell me something about reading the signs. I cannot understand why people who are ill qualified in customer relations and also lack the education to comprehend that fundamentally, without customers, your bottom line is ZERO work retail. Her attitude was YUCKY!!! If you don't want to serve ALL races of people, and obviously you are not wealthy, sit home. Get out of the way! Get!!!
