Had a frozen screen problem and was worried my PC may have been infected and or compromised. Called Ron and he was able to check it and return it the next day. Can not say thanks a lot enough, for that kind of prompt service. He advised me on what to do in the future if this happens again. Would recommend LCC for all of your computer needs. Thanks Ron, you're definitely my go to guy for my PC repairs.

Ron at LCC is absolutely phenomenal. He was so quick about getting my computer back in my hands in functioning order, saved all my nearly lost data, and managed to educate me on how to prevent future issues, all while moving his business in the same week. I have an ASUS laptop that was failing to charge owing to a bad power jack. Unfortunately, the solder they use is particularly tough to melt through. It took some time, but the guys at LCC managed to remove it and replace the bad part, thus saving me several thousand dollars for a new laptop. Absolutely recommend.

Lancaster Computer Company is a Necessary Place for this longtime Mac and Apple products user with little IT knowhow and no nearby techie friend or neighbor to offer help. I have been a consistently happy customer for 4-1/2 years since moving here from a larger city. Among other things, they have revived my computer's email system that was temporarily on strike, helped me select a phone best suited for my needs, check the health of my now six year- old MacBook Air annually (still going strong), and are always available to answer IT questions that come up from time to time. So grateful to have this resource in our neighborhood.

I was really disappointed in the work done at the Lancaster Computer Company. My computer came out with more damages then went in, some of the chords were damaged, not attached, screws missing, computer makes noises, screw stripped and the bottom case was not even put on right. It seems that the shop really did not care about doing (or can do) quality work. When I reach out about the situation, the shop will (still will not) not return any of my calls. In which case, when I went in, they refuse to refund for the damage that they caused. Ron was very rude to me and I would strongly suggest to look for a more honest and genuine computer shop around.

My solid state drive was failing. I requested Ron clone a brand new 500 gb drive. He was unable to clone the drive, and could only install windows on the "new" drive, so I installed all my programs. One program reveals the health of the drive, and I was shocked to learn it was a used drive with 1,500 hours of run time, and 11 tb's of writes. It also had 60% of life remaining. I emailed Ron on several occasions for the reason, he never responded. I made 2 payments( a deposit of $85 and a final of $104), and on my 2nd request, I stated I would dispute the 2nd payment if he didn't respond. He didn't respond, so I disputed the charge with Visa, and Visa based on my evidence(including a picture of the drive status), apparently charged him back, pending his rebuttal. Instead of contesting my dispute with Visa, he unscrupulously threatened to file an intentional theft of property with the Lancaster Police, if I didn't return the drive within 48 hours, which is filing a false police report, because it's a civil dispute. I was willing to pay for a used drive and for his labor, despite his deceptive practice, because I needed the drive. He never sent me an invoice breaking out the charges, even though he committed when I picked up my pc, so I assumed it was $50 difference. In my discussion with Visa, I learned, if I won the dispute I plausibly would have to return the drive. After all the hours I spent on re-installing and setting up the drive on my pc, the $105, wasn't worth the hassle of paying for another company to clone the drive, scrub Ron's used drive, and return the used drive to Ron, so I canceled the dispute, but will seek a redress through appropriate means. I was being more than fair in settling for the difference between the cost of a new and used drive of $50. He never denied the drive was used, after I revealed the program's report, which leads me to believe he intentionally installed a used drive.If you deal with him, ensure you receive an invoice, and insist he affirms on the invoice the product is new.

Earlier in the year, I purchased a laptop on eBay from a seller in California. When I received the laptop it wasn't as described and I had to file a dispute with PayPal. I ended up needing a third-party/expert opinion as proof.I went to Ron hoping he could help out and he did. He examined the laptop the same day and wrote a letter of support confirming the condition of the laptop. He knows his stuff and I'd highly recommend anyone go here for their computer needs!

God bless Ron! My NZXT computer's CPU cooler was failing and my temps were through the roof. This build made it hard for Ron due to not having the correct mount for new AIO cooler he ordered. However, I happened to have the old mount and Ron was able to get it up and running again. My PC was delayed by a couple of days but this was no fault of Ron's.I would definitely recommend him for any computer hardware issue you are having. He was awesome and my new rig is chugging again with nice, cool temps.

Well, my laptop is back. New hard drive and battery. Was just barely able to retrieve my files from the old hard drive. I remember working in IT telling people “back up” your files. I should have listened to myself. LOL. I got lucky
