I've been looking around for a hair salon or styles that dose ethnic/curly hair since mine was pretty booked until december , the styles i spoke to was very confident she can deliver what i expected since i've discussed with her my hairs type but i was very disappointed , so if you' have ethnic/curly hair this spot is not for you.

My maid of honor and I had our nails done for my wedding and they looked amazing!! She was patient \\u0026 accommodating. She also does my mother in laws nails regularly and they always look amazing. She showed me her nails at the wedding and they were so cute!

Katie Hillard Matelis has been my stylist for the past 3 + years and I can't imagine going to any other salon! The service and welcoming atmosphere makes it a very hard place to beat.

I've been coming to Alure since I moved to Lancaster and absolutely love it! Katie is the best and does amazing color! She truly cares about how my hair looks. It's always a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Highly recommend this salon.

Looking for a new stylist in the Lancaster area. Everyone was very nice here. My cut was with Ann, the owner of the salon. Like everyone else here, she was very nice and pleasant and gave me a good haircut (basically just a trim). I then went to pay for the haircut. I took $30 out of the bank and budgeted it for the haircut and tip. I based this on the $20 price I saw on the salon's website. My guess is they didn't update their website. They told me $30 for the haircut, and said the website indicated that a men's haircut starts at $20. So I basically emptied my wallet, and used the three $1 bills I had left for the tip, so, unfortunately, I left what amounted to a lousy tip. My guess is they don't want me back, and since I think $30 is pretty steep for what was pretty much a trim, I don't plan on coming back. I have gotten better haircuts for half the price. Again, everyone was very pleasant here. I would still recommend this place to others, just be ready to pay. That doesn't seem to be a problem for a lot of people in this area.
