237 Centerville Rd, LancasterWhat a unique pet store! Its bene said this is the largest pet store on the East Coast, and I believe it. Walk through the doors with a giant shark head above it into a massive warehouse. There are rows and rows of pet supplies organized by category. Throughout the main floor are birds and a few other animals. Off the side is an area for small pets like Guinea pigs and snakes. Don't miss the fish area. Hundreds of tanks are filled with many kinds of fish! The entire place is a little run down, but still worth a visit for how unique it is.

The bath was fantastic too my dog smells so good and feels super soft. You can tell they really care about the dogs and take their time to make sure everything is done right. I couldn’t be happier with the results and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

It is a little hard to get around in there because there is alot of things in the middle aisles. That said, at least they keep their store stocked! I like it!

1833 Lincoln Hwy E, LancasterI tried this vet because my normal couldn't get me in as quickly as I needed and I was not disappointed and would recommend and return. This appointment was for my crested gecko which was recently rescued and had laid eggs and had babies. I called on a Friday and they got me in later the same day.
One thing I really noticed about this vet is I never once felt like they just wanted my money. On the phone right away it was just concern for my reptile and the receptionist already had experience with them so that was a plus. My usual vet still asks me for money up front and I've been going there for years. Lincoln highway only asked for payment after the appointment was done and over with and my geckos were looked over. And the price was literally less than half of what my usual vet wanted to charge me. So I'm very satisfied there.
The staff was great. Everyone was friendly. Doctor was friendly and knowledgeable. The place itself I felt was very comfortable. If they were closer to me I'd be seeing them more, though that is obviously out of their control.

LancasterI have 2 unsocialized feral cats. Somehow Dr. Daub is able to come in to my house and gently humanely catch them, evaluate them and know what to do. She is so so competent. So wise. I am so lucky to have her as my vet!

Cleo learned well and we learned some new tricks along the way as well!My only issue is that our most recent class we didn't recieve our dogs little paper and I've tried to contact the staff via email and haven't heard anything. It's a little frustrating but overall a great facility with wonderful women running it!

As a pet parent you have to do the work, but they are providing the skills and tactics to manage the emotions and reactions of our puppy. I was at the end of my rope and ready to look at rehoming, options which broke me. I had never given up on a rescue, but his reactivity and strong breed were just too much woth a small dog and toddler. He is now focusing the emotions into training and proving to be the good boy we knew he could be with confidence and comfort.

Over the years I’ve trained two Border Collies and a Miniature Pinscher there. Our Min Pin came in with quite a few behavioral challenges, and the progress I saw was amazing.
Now I’m back again with our young puppy. Border Collie number three in the puppy class, and my 11-year old daughter is doing the class with me. It’s been such a great experience for both of us.
We work with Kate, and she is truly fantastic patient, knowledgeable, and wonderful with both people and dogs. We’ve learned so much and always feel supported in the process. Highly recommend Dog Sense for anyone looking for quality training!

We have been to more than a few vegan restaurants. This one had had us both absolutely falling in love with it! The people here are as friendly and accommodating as anyone could hope for. That is noticeable as soon as you enter the place. The food is the best. Just simply the best. I cannot describe it another way! I had a cheese steak made with portobello mushroom ( my choice of options) and my partner had a bowl offering mashed potatoes, cheese, chicken, an extra meat ( beef) and gravy. The portions are very generous! We were totally, filled and took a nice portion home. We highly recommend this place!! If you are vegan or just want a change for a day or need a great place to bring your vegan friends that are so hard to cook for! 🙂

Nino's New York Style Pizza
361 Comet Dr, LancasterI was visiting some friends in Lancaster, and they had been raving about this place for so long that we finally decided to give it a try. As someone who was born and raised in New York, I know good pizza when I taste it, and this place did not disappoint.
The owner was incredibly friendly and provided excellent service from the moment we walked in. My friends are blind, and I brought my sister, who is also blind. The owner was so kind, patient, and welcoming to all of us. It can be difficult to find businesses where people are genuinely helpful and understanding toward those with disabilities, so that really stood out and meant a lot.
You could tell he truly values his customers—he even knew my friend’s regular calzone order by heart!
If you visit, you have to try the loaded fries. They were easily some of the best fries I’ve had in a long time. The ravioli and pierogies were both delicious, and the cannolis were fresh and very tasty. My friends ordered their favorite calzones, and they were packed with toppings and absolutely worth it.
We’ll definitely be stopping by again the next time we’re in Lancaster. Highly recommend!

Some months ago (I’m a little late leaving this review) I brought my boyfriend with me to try it but he didn’t get out of work until 7:20. We called to ask if we were still able to get a seat and they let us sit! In fact, they let us get delicious Ethiopian coffee and sit and enjoy the atmosphere and the delicious food past closing. We had such a lovely time. The beef tibs are my favorite thing on the menu. I cannot recommend this place enough. The staff is extremely friendly and the food is divine, not like anything else in the area. Thank you, Awash!
