Do NOT recommend. We used Tileology for our kitchen remodel 3 years ago and it was beautiful and a good experience. We returned to use them for our bathroom remodel, however there estimate came in over our budget. When I informed them that we would be going elsewhere for tile installation I was verbally attacked by Ken Morris. I believe his intention was to have a discussion as to why, but his approach was argumentative, rude and unprofessional. It was the worst customer service experience I have ever had in Lancaster. I can't imagine that the owner of this company, JC Snavely, would appreciate or tolerate this poor customer service, especially since Snavely's has such a solid reputation in this community. It is quite unfortunate because the Tileology designer, Cindy, has beautiful vision and is a pleasure to work with.

Do NOT recommend - extremely unprofessional. We went to them to get pricing on a kitchen remodel, and we were very open that we were talking to various places for quotes. Decided to go with another contractor due to family connections. When we told them we were informed “Do not ever come back, you are not welcomed back here ever again”. I was planning on writing a great review because they did wonderful work on our quote … but I was stunned at their unprofessionalism. In a town like Lancaster, not a great way to gain/keep customers …

Terrible customer service. My mother-in-law requested a quote and was very open about the process. She was going through with getting quotes from other people at the same time and she told them this. She decided to go with another company and politely told TileOlogy "thank you" but that she would not be using them. Their customer service was very rude to her after getting this news and told her she was "not ever welcome at their store again" in a text message. Very unprofessional and rude.

Gas is expensive. Online the place is listed as OPEN. Suggestion: Use the same words plastered on the front door of your business "BY APPOINTMENT ONLY." And please pick up the phone, we made several attempts to reach out.

Our shower has a minor leak but one that meant we wouldn't be able to use it. The plumbers who came to inspect it identified the issue as being related to the tile work, and thus outside of their expertise. I found Tileology on google and they had good reviews on other review sites. After I got in touch Ken, he came out to take a look and after asking some questions he determined the leak was most likely not the shower floor, which would be an expensive repair, but the tile seat which could be replaced at a lower cost. On the day of the install, Ken came out himself to meet with the installer and after a few hours of work over the course of two days the shower is back to being operational. I am very pleased with the quality of the work, the price, and my interactions with everyone involved.

After looking at wall tiles at both on line and in stores, I discovered the perfect product on line, called Sonoma Tile. Hand made, the tile looks amazing. Locally it is distributed by Tileology off of Centerville Road. The store carries many product lines and their staff is supportive. I was able to borrow several Sonoma tile samples to evaluate. My tile was just installed after a 6 week wait. Because they are hand made, it does take time, which Tileology conveyed. To my family it was worth the wait. Their installer did a solid job, and I would give 4 1/2 stars out of five.

I'm so happy I was referred to this place when deciding to redo my master bath! I received some of the best customer service I've ever received from a business!! That is no understatement!! Cindy and Ken helped me from start to finish from selecting my color , to the type of tile, down to the specifics of the grout! Mind you I had little experience designing a bathroom, they both made this entire experience so easy and fun! Not to mention Cindy had fantastic design suggestions which is what I wanted! They offer competitive pricing for the luxury brands they offer...you will not be disappointed if you're looking to invest a lil more in the quality of tile !
