“First and foremost, let me just say that my latest go to Carmax was fantastic, only because of Luis A Cortes Jr. He made buying not 1 vehicle, but 2 vehicles such a stress free, painless process, and when we did run into issues, he worked on a day he took off because he was sick, to get it resolved for us.
My wife and I recently purchased both a 2022 Ford Maverick, and a 2021 Ford Explorer. The Maverick has been awesome, and was so painless throughout the entire process. Couldn't ask for better.
The Explorer on the other hand, it had to be shipped from Virginia Beach. Was told 5 to 7 days generally. Well, it took 8 days to get to Carmax, and then they do checks and inspections and such on it.....my wife wanted it for a trip this weekend, so we called up Luis, and he pushed it through while he was at home sick, and then we purchased it the next day through Luis.

I can't say enough about it. These 2 cars are now our 3rd and 4th cars we've purchased from Carmax. My previous purchases (2015 Explorer, 2015 Mini Cooper) lasted until this year.....and I couldn't be happier to go back and buy more through them. ALWAYS a fantastic process, and service. And in this day an age, SERVICE is going to win my praises more than the product.
