I showed up at 2:10 for my 2:20 appointment. I was told that "everyone just went on break" and they'd be back in an hour. I couldn't wait an hour. This was my second time visiting this location. The first time wasn't a very good experience either, although I was able to actually have my appointment and get glasses.

No customer service, no one answers phones all calls are routed to automated machine.Very disappointing!

Only doctor is virtual. Wait times can be at least an hour passed scheduled appointment due to having to wait for the virtual doctor. Got a phone call to say trial pair of contacts was in. Tried to call back to see if we need an appointment. Get an automated robot. Excessive hold times of 20+minutes. Still no answer. So now I paid for an exam and have to make another exam else to get the contacts elsewhere and pay another copay. Not happy. The service has really gone downhill.

Very pleased with my recent eye exam, went quickly and was professional. At the check-in desk was Ila, she handled multiple duties and patients with kindness and efficiency! During the hour I was there, she worked with at least 6 clients, checking them in, assisting with lens selection, phone calls, etc. And she was very pleasant to all.

Staff checked me in right away, I had made an appointment by phone, computerized. Technician, seamlessly, gave me the screenings in a timely manner. Optician, remotely, checked my current vision, comparing to last script. Then i was remotely seen by Dr. to discuss results & time for any questions. Staff was busy with customer, so manager printed my receipt & i was on my way. I would use this Vision works again. Thank you for promptness.

My glasses are great. But it was a month before I got them. They said a text message was sent, but I never saw it. No reminder text and no email. I tried calling several times, but their "bot" is all you'll get on the phone, which was utterly worthless. It wouldn't recognize my name or birth date or order number. I was ready to throw my phone against the wall. Then I show up in person and it's nearly 15 minutes before I'm even acknowledged to be standing there. It looked like only one employee was working that day. But that doesn't explain why someone who arrived after me was helped before me.

The only thing I didn't like was after my exam I had to wait to order my glasses and there were other people coming in that were after me and they were being served first I'm a very very patient person but like you said time is valuable

Are you guys trying to go out of business?! Took my kid in for a glasses & contacts exam - in York because it was urgent. Essentially everything was unnecessarily computer based with barely trained humans to supervise. The exam was done by a remote tech and even the optometrist was remote. Then when there were questions about the contacts, the bare-bones staff had to IM (not call) the optometrist. The optometrist didn't get back to them before closing and we were told we could have trial lenses sent to a closer store. I called the store today but got sent to a call center after sitting on hold forever. They're also "sending a message" to the store because evidently nobody there can answer a phone. Look - you need to staff and stock your stores. As far as I'm concerned there should be techs and optometrists IN THE STORE. And you should have trial lenses IN STOCK. I'm sorry if this cuts into executive compensation and stock price (the expanded tech is obviously a poorly executed attempt at cutting costs), but that's not my problem. LensCrafters might be more expensive, but I've never had these issues there.

I had two appointments in a row cancelled but not until I showed up on time for my appointment. Then, to reschedule it took over two months to get in. I will no longer go to Visionworks.

Terrible store. Waited 2 hours for a scheduled appointment. Was told it was because several people came early to their appointments. So instead of taking me at my scheduled time they took all the early people first. Had to order some trial contacts. I never got a call after 4 weeks. Been trying to call and keep getting redirected to general customer service. Nobody from the store ever answers the phone or returned messages left by the customer service rep. Will do what I need to get my prescription and then never going back.

Cannot say how horrible this experience was!!! Deserves negative stars!Son Had an appt in early May, ordered trials ( or do we thought) due to a change in brand, no call and no way to reach the store so I stopped in to find they were never ordered! Spoke to Lisa, the manager, and was told the doctor never requested them. Ok stuff happens. Ordered new trials, mind you he has no contacts and desperately needs them, with assurances the manager ( Lisa) would personally handle this and call with updates. I also took home a printed invoice of that order. 3 more weeks pass snd no word. Ok so we stop by again. They were t ordered this time either!!! Same excuse but this time the doc forgot the code “abb” code. Now told they’ll be ordered Monday ( it’s Saturday) and now they’re back ordered for 6 weeks. We’re stuck. No lenses, can’t order lenses bc the script isn’t approved due to no follow- up in trials, no one to contact at the store or main customer service. That line just rings and rings, you sit in hold for 30 minutes and then you’re told no one can help you and you’re kicked off. I have never left one review - EVER! But this is ridiculous! There’s no recourse whatsoever. I even tried another Visio works and was told that trials are free so I shouldn’t be upset bc they were covered by insurance! What good does that do me if my kid has no contacts! AWFUL! AWFUL! AWFUL!!! Stay away!!!!!!!!

HORRIBLE. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE wait time!! Do NOT go here! Had an appointment at 11:40, just had to walk out at 1:10 because I had to go! The two guys working there were nice, but I couldn't believe the wait time! An hour and a half and still not seen. Ridiculous and will NOT be going back.

Go to a real optometrist, this place is not where you want to be to ensure you have the correct vision. You video call with an eye doctor at this place, there are no doctors on site. The place is very poorly managed, understaffed and not professional. Had to go twice to get the correct prescription, waited for an hour and half both times despite arriving early. One of the worst run businesses I’ve been to in years.
