Amos Herr park is a quiet and safe area to walk. Has all the things that most parks have, baseball field, basketball hoop, pavilions, grass areas for whatever activities. I stop bye with lunch and eat to get away somewhere. East Hempfield PD & township building are adjacent to the parkDog-friendliness: Dogs are allowed on a 6 foot leash. And (obviously like anywhere else hopefully) must be cleaned up after if they poop

Gave a 3 star for Pickleball courts because it’s not yet resurfaced, but had signs up saying that will begin Monday, August 8th. Also there is no fence around and you have to bring a net. There is a club that claims the two courts M-F around 8-11a. Otherwise all is ok there. I saw they have volleyball, tennis courts and event space. This review is not for any of that. Nov 2023, now 4 nicely resurfaced courts but not fenced. Good place to play

Wonderful playground with lots of equipment for all ages! The one drawback was that the bathrooms were closed when we were there. I don't know if it is because it is November or because of something else, but that did cause us to cut our trip short ?

This is a wonderful park for toddlers through tweeners. A lot to do in the space provided. There is a toddler side and in order kids side but both can be equally fun or used for hide and seek in game system like that. There are two sand pits which can be a blessing and a curse cuz my daughter loves the sand but then he gets sand everywhere. When you get in the car, get home.Decent amount of seating for adults, some park benches outside for eating and there is a restroom close by with diaper changing stations.Plenty of parking and some huge soccer, volleyball and ball fields nearby.Playground: A lot to do in this area. Foam flooring with some being mulch. Plenty to do and two sand pits for those kids that like to play in the sand. Unfortunately it's like coming home from the beach and you find sand all over your vehicleRestrooms: Restrooms are clean and they do provide toddler changing area which is a plus. There are water fountains on site for quick drinks.Picnic area: There are a few park benches outside of the playground area underneath the trees, there's gazebo and the covered bridge was seating inside

Recently visited with my very active kindergartener. I was very impressed with the playground facilities - extensive play equipment with lots of variety and three-dimensionality, while also designed to accommodate kids with different abilities.Dedicated toddler area is a plus, with shaded but airy sitting areas between the two zones. Lots of climbing and vertical movement options, which my little enjoys. The zip line wasn't operational when we were there, but it looked like it would have been fun.Didn't get a chance to see much of the rest of the park, but it seemed to be very well maintained and perfectly pleasant.

Really cool park! Happened upon it while driving home from landisville. Love how much is available for kids of all ages. Great seating for parks who want to chat or relax and watch them play in any section. Restrooms are not far from the park.

The playground area was beautiful and well maintained. It had appropriate play areas for all ages and was very fun and interactive. It was honestly one of the larger public playgrounds I have seen and it was very fun for my child and I. It was also very accessible. The parking situation was convenient and the larger park as a whole was well maintained and had a large variety of spaces and activities available.

We love that this park has one side dedicated specifically to toddlers. We have also rented the Pavillion for parties twice now and had excellent experiences. It's clean, spacious, and beautiful.Playground: The "dream park" is great for toddlers or older kids and there are designated sides for each.Restrooms: There are clean restrooms under the pavillion.Picnic area: It is very clean and provides lots of space. Also includes a grill.

Great park! Honestly, I've never experienced a park like this. Loved how the park clearly distinguishes what side of the park is geared towards the specific age groups. Also, the park has a zip line! What!?!?! I never grew up with a zip line in my nearby park. My wife and I rode that zip line a couple of times before we left the park...no shame here. All in all, great park!

Best kid's park in the Lancaster area, hands down! We loved the variety of play settings and skill levels available that kept the kiddos entertained for 2 hours.
