Giving a 3 star because the front desk lady was very nice and very informative and instructed me on what to do. But apart from that I didn’t have a good experience. I’ve never had an MRI before and I’m a bit upset to learn that I was supposed to wear earplugs to help with the noise and the tech didn’t mention it nor offer it. The noise was pretty loud like an alarm and I had to be in there for a total of 30 mins. I hope you don’t do this to other people because that is very unacceptable.

10/24 I went to Akumin for a chest xray. From the moment I walked in I felt very welcomed. From the check in person (sorry can't remember your name) to the xray tech (sorry can't remember your name either) they were very professional, but also very kind and caring. Will definitely come back if I ever need another xray. Thank you all!

Excellent and dedicated staff. Made my MRI and on another occasion- very easy and comfortable.
Highly recommended for anyone in need of an MRI or CAT Scan.

Had 2 ultrasounds done here and my doctor had to go back and forth with the doctor that reviewed them both times and then found out that the measuring was done wrong on my first one so I'll probably have to get a third one, not at Akumin. Waste of time and money

10/10 the wait time was very long but my nurses were extremely nice! The us imagining service messed up my appointment but thankfully this place was able to squeeze me in! Would definitely come back! The nurse even tucked me in during my mri.

I had a CT with contrast done on 8/20. My tech was Dave. He was very knowledgeable & explained everything perfectly. Dave was very personable & kind & I will definitely recommend Akumin because of him.

Waiting an hour and a half and then left - they kept making excuses for delay and left me in a room with nothing but white walls. Worst place ever!

O8/23/24. Scheduled an MRI. Showed up Wednesday morning at 7:20am for 7:45am appt, came early to fill out paperwork. When I arrived and was changing into my gown, there was a knock on the door from the desk person. She stated I was there at the wrong time, my time was scheduled for 7:30pm. She said they were booked and could not squeeze me in.
While driving in my vehicle to my appointment at 7:30pm, I received a phone call from the desk person at 7:10 pm stating that they weee running one hour behind due to someone feeling ill during there appointment. She told me to come at 8:15pm but I was around the corner from the office. Upon arriving they told me there was nothing they could do to speed the process. So I waited almost one hour until I was called back for my MRI. Never again will I use Akumin for anything! Go somewhere else save yourself the aggravation.

Everything went well. Front staff was great and the young lady performing the x ray was wonderful. In and out with no issues or drama.

Very pleased with my first visit to Akumin. The receptionist was very courteous and helpful with checking in. The tech performing the imaging was very pleasant, caring and efficient. Will definitely return when any future imaging is needed. Thank You!

Facility is clean, Front desk staff was friendly and patient. The radiology technologist, Dave, was excellent at his job! He was informative and explained everything thoroughly, but plainly, step by step. His manner was professional yet familiar, which made the process very comfortable. Thank you, Dave. Bravo.
