Overall the process went smoothly. They offered me the same as the internet offer. Only thing was that our rep was not very communitive or all that friendly.

It was a long wait, but to be fair I missed my appointment lol. Other than that I already had the car picked out, I test drove it and it was exactly as it was pictured. The actual process of buying the car and warranty was smooth and relatively quick. Definitely easier than going to a dealer and getting sweet talked into something I don’t want. The price was fair, and the warranty made it a no brainer.

Their offer was higher than any other buying service by far. Much higher also than the dealer offered in trade. Process took awhile but went smoothly. Employees were friendly. They honored the original offer sheet with no issue. Walked out with a check in about an hour.

Online quote for the value of my car was validated by Car Max personnel and a cashier check was issued. The service personnel were very professional and made sure I was comfortable with my decision to sell and that I was not leaving any money on the table. All in all it was a very satisfying experience without any hard sell etc. I left with the impression that they are professional, honest and fair.

Bought a 2020 kia forte from here in November of 22' with 20,000 miles on it. Engine blew at 68,000 miles. Bought the top of the line MaxCare policy they offered. Was just told Engine not covered and no loaner car was given. Have been paying out of pocket for a rental for over a month while they decided if it was covered or not. Now it's $8,000 for a Engine in a car with 68,000 miles on it. Absolute worst company to deal with. Avoid at all costs. Absolutely livid with the situation and lack of effort to satisfy a customer. I will tell everyone and anyone looking for a vehicle to stay clear of this place.

I am glade I visited this longhorn PA CarMax center for getting evaluation for my car. They are very systematic handled every thing very professionally. This center is very spacious and clean. I with no hesitation recommend anybody to use their service.
