I attend only the yoga classes. Darlene is my favorite yoga teacher at this location. The other teachers are a little more controlling and in their ego. Which I find very odd since yoga is all just suggested, you can do whatever practice works for you. I remember I was called out by the other instructor for reversing to her pose the wrong way. She wanted to be all mean to me about it. So now I just try to go to Darlene's class, plus she has the sweetest voice and a somatic/sound healing approach which I love more.

Absolutely love Lansdale area YMCA. The sports program director Ian is THE BEST! I highly encourage anyone considering joining to go for it, and take advantage of their many programs offered.

The Y has constantly been welcoming to the community and area organizations, providing space for meetings and help. There are many things to do at the Y and despite onerous legal requirements, the staff does a great job.

This is the worst ever experience. The staffs at the front desk are always always always on phones and you have no other choice but wait until they finish the calls. And the WORST is that everything needs to go through that smart front desk. Why would I need to spend my valuable time to wait for your sales call or whatever that is. I really regret that I spend my money here. They spend all the resources to get you in but once you are in, they don’t care about your experience at all!!!

Where to start. Women's showers: Dirty. Got tolerable during initial covid phase but now worse and worse. The showers are irksome. Curtains are dirty. Hairballs in every shower stall. Mold. Rust.Pools: The individual member is not at all considered. It's all about groups that rent out the pools. Pools should have more hours for individual members. For those who work day jobs, very limited times to swim. Deming hardly available. Lap pool only available evenings when working only around swim practices. Martin pool is the only option in the evening but family pool time, so single adults have to exercise in between kids playing. Martin pool for the kids would be really fun but the slide and water buckets and floating path are pretty much always closed. The whirpool has hairballs constantly and does not ever look clean anymore. Stopped using altogether.Lifeguards are mostly antisocial. Do not even make eye contact with people. Exceptions of course but this is the norm.Ambler is a much better option, but farther away. I am writing this review because feedback to the staff has gone nowhere. I have spoken to several regular members who feel the same way. Unfortunate.

I enjoyed all the fitness equipments, classes, pools, space and friendly staff here. I wish to go more to get my workout done. It never disappointed me. See today I burned over 400 cal. by doing one single stepping machine for over an hour. Thanks y!

Don't waste your time with the free 7th grade membership. They only allow them to go Monday Wednesday and Friday 3-5. 6 hours a week in total is it. Rainy Saturday and the kids can't get in to play a little basketball.

Thinking of a pool party, Lansdale Y is your go to place!!Recently we had our daughter’s birthday party. She asked for a pool party and Lansdale Y was great in accommodating our big party.Mr. Ian Dillard our party associate from Lansdale Y is awesome. He helped us in every step to make this party a wonderful memory for our family. All kids not only loved to have a splash in the pool but also had a blast with Mr. Ian Dillard when he volunteered as a dance DJ.All parents loved our party and praised Ian’s energy levels are remarkable.Everybody had so much fun.Thank you Ian and Lansdale Y.

We recently had our daughter’s 7th birthday party at the Lansdale YMCA. We did a gymnastics theme and the experience was amazing from beginning to end. I cannot say enough positive comments about Ian the Program Director. He was very responsive and made the whole experience stress free. The party began in the gym and his enthusiasm and energy level did not let down for two hours. He made it so fun for the kids and was able to cater to varying experience levels. All parents commented on how amazing he was and how he made the party so fun for everyone! I would definitely plan another party with him!

I grew up in the area and watched this y go through a lot of transformations. I started here by going to the summer camp when I was little and now as a grown man I’ve been lifting here for about 3 years. I do love the gym as it’s the most comfortable spot to lift for me. But, unfortunately my gym experience was affected the other day. When attend accuses me of using explicated language. I deny these claims. And then he puts his finger in my face and try’s to yells at my as if I were I child. I still love this place and will continue to go. But, they definitely need to retrain gym l staff on how to talk to people the way I was spoken to was unacceptable.

Writing reviews for Swimming Team: Between 2021-2022. We put our daughter for swimming lessons there, she's quite capable to learn anything that's taught but for Level 2, they were only teaching few items listed in it and they are keeping her in Level 2 for the third time. They're kind of short staffed and trying to add more kids to their coach up team and expect parents to pay too much for a simple swimming lesson that would take few weeks. She's going to attend the 3rd time 8 week session for Level 2 now; it's a total swindling. Please respect others time and money. I couldn't switch places as that involves planning an alternative. Thanks.

Darlene and Tai Chi, what a wonderful combination. Tai Chi is wonderful for arthritis, keeps you fluid without a lot a stress on your joints. It's a meditation in motion. If they offered it 5days a week I would be there for all of it.
