The salesperson, Tom, in the major appliance department literally ignored me and treated me like I was invisible when a couple walked up to him and asked about a washer. He totally forgot that he was supposed to show me a freezer on the floor and just stayed at the computer discussing the washer choices and showing them info on the computer. I walked away and found a similar freezer myself. Walked back. Continued to be ignored. I purposely stayed about 10 minutes listening to their conversation and being ignored. I left them and continued to browsing and thinking that he would catch up with me. Hell, no! Upon returning, he continued talking to the couple who obviously saw I was there first but didn't mind ignoring me either. I finally started to leave the department and walked down the aisle at which time he yelled my name and said, " where are you going"? I said I'm leaving. You left me! I walked out and bought a freezer at Kieffers. I won't bother reporting my experience to the store. I doubt they'll even care.

Picking up my order from purchasing it online, but the customer service at the pickup all had an attitude and none of them even helped us to put it in our car even after asking.

Awful Employee in power tools. I simply needed the location of an item. As I approached the employee he jumped back and said "I must stand 6 feet away!" Enough is enough! Do better Home Depot. Take my business lowes

A log splitter was rented a week ago and Home Depot just cancelled at 6:02 PM the night before the 8 AM rental. Multiple people intended to share this rental and we scheduled in advance accordingly. It turns out that someone else rented the unit for a week but Home Depot did not bother notifying me until this late time.

Don't try to use your veterans discount here. Phone # doesn't work . If you register on the app it's so glitchy in the store and most times it takes so long to refresh it with every sale it's not worth the time or effort. On top of that it is annoying to the people behind you!

The service for order online and the promise delivery date and time is horrible. 1 star is just too generous to give. I paid $79 for delivery and we have deadlines to meet on the project. Still no delivery after 2 weeks so i had to cancel the order. Second occasion was the same thing. We order $5700 worth of items and only got partial delivery on promise date. The rest just another bs excuses for not delivering out items. I mean wtf can i do? We ask for explanations over the phone and they keep us on hold for 20 minutes or more. We decide to hang up because there is no one who can explain so it just a waste of time. These people really suck. Now i know why theres so many bad reviews on here.

My husband and I were at the Montgomeryville, Pa. store yesterday. We have been remodeling our home for the past year, one room at a time. To date, we have spent over $15,000. at this Home Depot Store. Yesterday we visited to order a small counter for our powder room we want to match the countertop we used in the kitchen. I saw a young man in the department, He was NOT busy at all. merely holding his head in his hand, When I said to him you have a few minutes to help us order a countertop for our powder room? He gave a very disturbing look and clearly did not want to wait on us. After that, I had to show him that you had the counter on display, as he didn't think it was available! We had our measurements and pictures to make it very easy to order our little counter. After asking our name and phone number 3 times, and losing the computer pages he needed to start and complete our order. He looked at us and said the order is only 778.00 You must spend $950.00 regardless. I truly believe he thought we would say forget it and walk away. I replied gouge much! So I added a sink, and labor to attach the fixtures, which we purchased last night. Finally, the bill came to over $1100.00. As we left we said to each other if it wasn't the fact that we wanted to match the counter in the kitchen we would have purchased from another store. Having spent a ton of time and a ton of money we planned to use Home Depot to complete all our remodeling. I really felt we were not appreciated as the great customers that we are, and felt he was incredibly rude With the economy as bad as it is, I would think that every customer every time would be greeted as though you were happy to see them. Regards, Robert and Carol Folger

Would not accept a return in an unopened package for a product they stock and sell currently. Had no receipt as it was a gift but store credit was denied by a 3rd party service they use. Complained, customer service and manager unsupportive and arrogant in general. What happened to their stellar returns policy??

I've used this Home Depot for many years, slowly watched it slide down hill in quality and hoped for a turnaround but no more. For years it has been a joke about how hard it is to find help in any Home Depot but this one seems to have given up trying. Not only is it all but impossible to find help in the isles or on the paint counter but they've given up on check out and this is the final straw. Unless the garden center is open, and in the winter it is not, they do not have cashiers for check out. They expect everyone to do self-checkout. I was there today with a long line of people waiting as various people fumbled to check themselves out, instead of having it done quickly by experienced cashiers. When I asked one lady in a vest said 'we can help you if you need it' but clearly a lot of people needed help and nothing was moving along. Most places, most companies, view cashiers as a paid position. A skilled worker who is the face of the company to the public. But not here. Here Home Depot expects the public to do for free what most companies pay for. Let them wait. within a mile of this location there is a Loews and Ace hardware stores with cashiers and people willing to help. go use them until Home Depot realizes that for the money people are paying for some goods there, they need to have public cashiers- or start giving their customers paychecks to do what every other store about pays people for!

DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES FROM HOME DEPOT. They use RAS, which I'm almost sure their "big box" competitor does also. I've had more appliances damaged in delivery from RAS, then delivered without issue. Some were three deliveries to get me an appliance without a scratch, ding, dent. PLEASE put the extra money out and go to an independent dealer. I'm sitting here without a refrigerator for AT LEAST another week because of a huge scratch on the side. The delivery guys saw it, and wa

Don't believe what any of the Home Depot Installation sales reps tell you about their windows/doors "Double Lifetime Warranty." It's simply not true. Labor is not covered beyond 1 year! Look at their contract verbiage below. When I inquired about the discrepancy, this was my reply: "My understanding is the line references our lowest warranty that was available on an American Craftsman window which is 1 year and the others would in essence be an upgrade to it. I can assure you having been with Home Depot in the window installations business for over 8 years now they consistently favor on the side of taking care of the customer including any service concerns and issues." It's b******* because the salespeople will be long gone by the time you file a claim. It's what's in the contract that you sign that matters in the eyes of the law; not a marketing brochure or something said in an email. Plygem/Simonton's customer service rep, Mikka, told me that they get lots of complaints from unhappy customers when Home Depot does not honor the warranty. Moreover, they told me HD's (underpaid) subcontractor installers make a lot of mistakes. All confirmed by Simonton's supervisor, Lori Hendershot. The 6500 series window itself is warranted for 20 years and prorated afterwards. This is taken from their contract. Workmanship is only for 1 year! 7. WARRANTY AND LIMITATION ON WARRANTIES: (a) Warranty: Unless otherwise stated in the Agreement, Home Depot warrants for 1 year from the completion date that all Services shall (i) be performed with good workmanship and (ii) conform to the requirements of the Agreement. During the warranty period and within a reasonable time after receiving notice from You of a warranty claim, Home Depot may, at its sole option (i) correct or replace each Defect, or (ii) remove each Defect and refund the full purchase price thereof to You; provided, however, that all warranties are voided if (1) anyone other than Home Depot or Service Provider performs work upon or otherwise modifies any materials or Services provided under this Agreement, or (2) You fail to pay Home Depot as provided in this Agreement. (b) Limitation on Warranties: THE WARRANTIES PROVIDED IN THIS AGREEMENT ARE STRICTLY LIMITED TO THE FOREGOING EXPRESS WARRANTIES CONTAINED IN PARAGRAPH 7A, IN THE WARRANTY SECTION OF THE AGREEMENT, IF ANY, OR IN THE STATE SUPPLEMENT, IF ANY. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT NO OTHER WARRANTIES ARE MADE OR GIVEN BY HOME DEPOT OR SERVICE PROVIDER, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY FOR FITNESS OF PURPOSE, WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, OR ANY OTHER ORAL, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES. HOME DEPOT'S EXPRESS WARRANTIES ARE VOIDED FOR ANY DEFECT CAUSED BY ABUSE, MISUSE, NEGLECT, ACTS OF GOD, LACK OF PRESCRIBED OR STANDARD MAINTENANCE, OR IMPROPER CARE/CLEANING. ANY MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTIES PROVIDED FOR GOODS, MATERIALS, OR EQUIPMENT WILL BE PASSED THROUGH BY HOME DEPOT TO YOU, AND YOU AGREE TO LOOK SOLELY TO SUCH MANUFACTURER FOR REMEDY OF ANY DEFECT IN SUCH GOODS, MATERIALS, AND EQUIPMENT. HOME DEPOT MAY ASSIST YOU WITH WARRANTY CLAIMS AGAINST MANUFACTURERS.

I've been using Home Depot, and more specifically this location for all of 2020 since we moved nearby. All I can say is that between online ordering, pickup in store, ,curbside pickup, or returns I've not had a lot of issues. This most recent visit was to make returns picked up at the Warrington location and I've learned to go at night for such things as weekend mornings are busy. The wait was not long and the return was painless. To make returns easier, make sure that you have a Home Depot account and the app installed on your phone, you'll never be without your receipt. Always plenty of parking here.
