I’m writing to share a very disappointing experience I had at the USPS office recently. The staff member—a young lady who was watching her phone on one of the corner counter—was extremely rude and unprofessional when we simply asked a few questions regarding our passport renewal.Instead of providing help or even a basic level of courtesy, her tone was dismissive and impatient throughout the interaction.
It made the entire visit uncomfortable and unpleasant. We left feeling frustrated, unheard, and frankly, disrespected. It's unfortunate that a service meant to support the community is being represented this way. Basic respect and kindness go a long way, especially when dealing with the public.
However, we were later assisted by a gentleman regarding our passport, and he was a complete contrast—very kind, soft-spoken, and helpful. We truly appreciated his respectful demeanor and willingness to assist us patiently.
I truly hope USPS management looks into staff conduct and ensures proper customer service training is in place.

Holy cow this place is horrible. I have never been spoken down to so much at any place. The young woman is the worst. I came here to ship one small item and you would think that I was torturing her. Only one person behind the counter and she can't even have a little bit of respect or politeness.

Very rude customer service. Also, their website says they have walk in appointments for passports in the morning and we went and supposedly the lady was on vacation. Awful service

THANK YOU Joshanae for taking care of my passport application! You were very professional and knowledgeable while carefully explaining everything to me as a 1st time applicant. May God continue to bless the work of your hands! Mr. Gordon.

20 minutes late for scheduled passport appointment and then the postal worker was extremely rude. I would skip this place at all costs to avoid frustration.

Inefficient (always long lines), messy/dirty lobby, and the clerks seem to have little interest in helping people.

I visited this post office recently, and unfortunately, the experience wasn’t very pleasant. One of the staff members — a young woman — spoke with a noticeably loud voice, which made the interaction feel a bit harsh. Even though I tried to stay polite, she didn’t seem very patient or considerate, especially when I needed a bit more time or clarification. It left me feeling quite uncomfortable and unwelcome. I hope the staff can be a little more understanding and mindful, especially when assisting customers who may not speak English fluently.
Public institutions should strive to offer better and more considerate service to the public.

They didn’t have the drop box so I had to wait 30 minutes in line. Only one person working, manager just walking around with headphones in. Line was out the door

I had a very frustrating experience at the Lansdale Post Office on the morning of May 6th, around 9 a.m., while attempting to complete a fingerprinting process.
A white male staff member with long hair assisted me. He initially told me that the fingerprinting machine wasn’t working. Still, he did try it about two times—but when the machine didn’t respond immediately, he quickly concluded that it was broken and told me to go to another location. I even asked if we could try again, but he refused and dismissed it entirely.
Later that day, I went to the Warrington Post Office. Interestingly, the same kind of machine there also had difficulty reading my fingerprints at first—but the staff there understood that this is a common issue when fingerprints are hard to capture and patiently tried multiple times until it finally worked.
This made it clear to me that the problem wasn’t the machine—it was the lack of proper training and unwillingness to help at the Lansdale office. The staff member did not seem to understand how to handle the process correctly, nor did he seem interested in trying. Frankly, I was shocked by the lack of professionalism and effort.
It makes me seriously question the hiring standards for federal service. When someone acts like they're doing you a favor by barely trying twice and then sends you away, it reflects poorly not only on the individual but on the entire office. I hope this review encourages the necessary training and oversight to prevent others from going through the same frustrating experience.

Sad to say that the USPS in general is being demolished by idiot politicians and this location has really tanked as a result. Called probably 30+ times and no one answers locally. The 1-800 number is even worse. You cannot get past the “put on your 20+ digit tracking number” to get to an agent. Hit 0 - 15 times and said agent about 10 times then it hung up. It was very frustrating but more sad now that this system is really ending up in terrible shape after so many fine people worked their entire careers there. ;.(

Won't deliver mail if a car is within 3 ft of the mailbox or if a foot of snow is around the mailbox.
