Came in last year to witness my husband's confirmation ceremony, which he got his Buddhist name. The people were more than welcome to me. Made me feel part of their group, spoke to me with a welcoming smile , I felt their warm welcoming and true auras while speaking to me. Very friendly too. The ceremony was beautiful and breathtaking. Just amazing! I'm not part of this beautiful group but i fully support my husband joining it. I have seen what the members and center have done for my husband. He is more relaxed and less stressed. The members are wonderful!

From the very first time that I visited Soji and still each time I go for practice.,there is a warm, friendly atmosphere. During meditation the loving energy in the Zendo is felt as everyone sits together for common purpose,as the collective loving atmosphere is close to tangible. Since becoming a member and even before membership I feel that my heart is with the Soji Sangha. My brothers and sisters. A welcoming, caring community.

Went there for the first time last Saturday for a one-day sesshin (meditation). Everyone was very friendly and welcoming! The center is small but beautiful and the teacher, Osho Harris, is warm and insightful. I plan to go back again when I can

I practiced meditation on my own for years. I reached a point where I could go no further without a teacher. Practicing at Soji changed my life. The community is welcoming, the practice is full, and the teacher is experienced and genuine.

When I first moved to the Philadelphia area, I knew I wanted to find a new Zen Buddhist center to continue my practice. I wanted a center that would allow me to study Zen Buddhism with a healthy mix of structure and community and that would allow me to go at my own pace. Soji Zen Center definitely provides that.I've been attending Soji Zen Center on a weekly basis for the past two years, and I can honestly say my life is better for having such a wonderful sangha (community). I highly recommend Soji Zen Center to anyone who is looking to join a Zen Buddhist community, whether you are new to Buddhism or have practiced Zen Buddhism for a while now.

I’ve visited Soji a few times for various workshops they have offered. The group is incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable. The space is clean and comfortable and I’ve had a great experience any time I have visited. I will definitely visit again.

I've practiced with a number of Zen communities, and Soji stands out as the most diverse, close-knit, and warmest community- a unique gem. Great wisdom and depth are abundant not only in the teacher, but in all of the members as well.

Genuine, caring people with a love of the Dharma and great organization. Incredibly prompt and detailed responses, and they have done a wonderful job transitioning to virtual formatting during this pandemic. Highly recommended both for first-time meditators who are curious and for more experienced and dedicated Zen students.
