“Got my tire presser sensor fixed. Brad picked me up when he heard I was gonna walk back for my car. Great service to the point where they are so busy because of it. I heard they were open at 7am but people showed up at 6:30am to drop off their car. I showed up at 7:15 and was almost last in line. They do first come first serve recommend showing up early or just waiting till later.”
“My battery warning light came on and was told at Autozone that my battery was good but most likely needed a new alternator. I called Jim’s and were able fit me in right away. I came first thing just before our winter vacation for them to look at it. Jim’s figured out that the connectors were loose. It was a Christmas miracle! To my surprise, within under an hour of THEIR time, they fastened it and told me that I did not even have to pay. Jim’s service and kindness, especially around this holiday season made my day. This is the kind of neighborhood shop that really gets it (unlike some of these corporate-auto-grinches minus Roxborough Autozone). I had to repay the favor by giving them a rave review. Thank you! “I've been coming here for inspection and maintenance for years. This is definitely one of the best shops around. It's almost always pretty busy so it's best to call ahead to schedule appointment. There's no dedicated parking lot (like most shops in Philly), but there's plenty of street parking nearby when dropping off the vehicle. They always explain if there's any fixes needed and get your approval before doing any work. They never try to push any unnecessary services or charge any surprise fees. A++”
“We had a punctured tire that a tire plug would not seal. Fiancée dropped the wheel off to get checked out and received a call back not long after that it was repaired. They put the tire back on for her (saving me from doing so after work), charged a great price, and most importantly made the process easy. Had a flat about a block away (luckily), immediately saw the nail (I completely missed it), thought I needed a new tire but he was able to fix it in about 20-30min, if not less. “We have been bringing our van here for the big fixes for several years, and I recommend everyone do that. They know what they're doing and the service is excellent. The van stays fixed (until something else breaks.)
But here's an illustration of how awesome they are: For two years we've had a wasp sitting at the base of our windshield, stinger pointing out. We didn't want to risk sticking our fingers there to pull it out so we just left it. We had the van detailed twice and all those guys did was move the wasp around. Last week Wynnewood Park Service fixed our van and... they removed the wasp.”

“Chances are if you are calling this company, you are having a bad day. Rest assured that DW will turn it around and get you back on track. We spent about three hours trying to get AAA, OnStar and other local businesses to respond to our flat tire in south Philadelphia and only DW responded and stayed focused on our problem. He sourced a new tire from a local vendor and brought it to the vehicle, mounted, balanced and installed the tire right on the curb where we were stranded. Don’t waste your time with the national “service“ providers. Call DW.”
