“I forget the name of the dark haired man with curls and a beard, but he was awesome! He definitely introduced himself to me and then asked me my name. I walked in after finding this place on Google & seeing the reviews were great. I drove around like 5 times to find parking! Lol, I really wanted to go in! But anyway, dude was very pleasant to chat with. I'm very inquisitive by nature, and he answered all of my questions with grace & patience. He even showed me how the work the cup of smoke thingamajigger. He gave me honest reviews on products I asked about. He gave vibes that he loves his job, and I love that for him! I have been going here since they opened their doors. Sarah is the BEST she is always kind, very helpful, always has a smile on her face and greets you when you walk in. She is always willing to explain everything in detail and offers you help with anything you may need or suggests what is on sale. The store is well kept and always clean. I like that she always offers to try out (certain) products (vapes) before you leave so if there is any issues with your product she will immediately exchange it for another product or something of the same value. “I happened to be in the area of the 3400 block of Sansom Street today in West Philadelphia and a familiar sign caught my eye from 22 years ago; Avril 50. Avril 50 was a regular stop in my patrol days and I loved walking into the shop. Always the wonderful aroma of brewing coffees and chocolate dancing with other exotic smells and the smells of fine papers and magazines. It always felt to me like stepping from West Philadelphia into a magical pocket of Europe. As it looked exactly the same, I wondered if anything had changed in the past 22 years and as soon as I crossed the threshold, I found that it was the same - like stepping back 22 years, yet somehow I was that much older. The proprietor was still there, still the same and looking no different - something that confirmed my belief that this was a magical and wonderful pocket paradise tucked away on a small West Philadelphia street. A brief catch-up chat, a shopping bag of fine teas and a perfectly brewed double-espresso to takeaway later; I stepped back into the bright Fall sun of West Philadelphia. I found myself smiling as I sipped the espresso, happy that one of the best things for me in that neighborhood has remained unchanged for others to enjoy and to continue to discover. It will not be another 22 years before I make my way back - that is for certain.”

“I stopped by here last night on my way home and I'm glad I did. I was able to find street parking across the street which was nice. The area is very busy so I can see parking being a challenge. The cigar selection is abundant and the service was great. They had trivia last night which was a ton of fun. “THIS PLACE IS ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!!I live in upstate NY and unfortunately I have someone in a recovery facility about 10 miles away from this Shoppe. I needed to somehow get some vapes to my loved one as they’re no longer allowed to be shipped via any source. “After being let down for the second time trying to see what the hype is over cheesesteaks in Philly, I ran across this cigar lounge where I met Ralph. He and the other guys who seemed to be regulars were extremely hospitable. After I purchased my cigars, I decided to sit down and lounge with them. I was offered a beer and we sat and talked for, at least, an hour while it rained cats and dogs outside. If I'm ever in the area, again, I have to stop through and pay Ralph a visit. For a place known for "brotherly love", this shop was the only place I can say I got that feeling. Awesome selection with a modest and intimate atmosphere.”

“They come through super clutch every time I've ever used them. I recently started using puffco products, and my atomizer broke. I knew they sold puffco rigs, but did not think they had all the accessories you need as well, and they were fully stocked!! I thought for sure it would have been more money to buy the puffco there than ordering online, but I highly regret not using them as they offer the same price as puffco and stand by their products! As a local, this is hugee!! Instead of waiting until the wknd to use my peak again, it's back in action better than ever with a new atomizer and dish at the best price possible. They have a wide selection of all e rigs and lots of other cool stuff! Best in the Roxborough/ manayunk area! “Me and Harry's go way back but I hadn't been there in a while. The "new" location definitely works! The selection is still top notch and the service excellent. The upstairs lounge is more than worth the basically 2 cigar minimum purchase (technically a $25 minimum cigar purchase regardless of how many cigars). Comfortable chairs, nice electric fireplace, beverages and BYO and the Game is typically on one of the two TV's which aren't super loud - it's nice to actually have a conversation or a quiet smoke.Speaking of a good smoke, the ventilation is excellent, which means you not only have comfort but get to truly enjoy "your" cigar. That selection I mentioned is a very good one. The humidor is very well stocked and covers every palate from the newbie to the true connoisseur.I'm biased but speaking as objectively as possible, it's one of the best little cigar shops in the US.”

“I am disabled and use a wheelchair, when Sam sees me coming, he comes right to the door and opens it for me, he is such a nice person. He always has what I need and if I have any questions about rolling my own cigarettes he knows all the answers. And in bad weather I cannot take the buses with my wheelchair so I call ahead and order what I need and I have my friend pick everything up for me. Sam always has everything ready and once he even stayed open late to wait for my friend to pick my bag up. “This place is the best. Every time I go in, their employee gives me the run down on any new vape that he thinks I may like and will usually give me a discount on any vape I try that is new or different from my usual purchase. Usually if they introduce me to a new product that is more than I expected to spend and I only have exact change for what I originally intended to buy they will usually let me slide on a few bucks here and there. This is the only place that I will buy vapes, I've never had trouble with any vape I've purchased from them.”
