“While on business in Warren Ohio my 2006 f 350 stared running really rough and smoking. After trying to look at the obvious possibilities I ended up having to spend the night at a hotel.
The next morning I had the truck towed to Kiaben Ford in Warren Ohio. I rented a u haul to bring equipment on home
. Kiaben ford had truck for 2 weeks. The service guy called to say it was a failing Turbo and couple fuel injectors. Also the compression innumber 8 cylinder was low. They wouldn't honor my warranty but would fix it for 7,500.00
So I called another garage my warranty company recommended. I&A Auto in Warren said that they could handle it.
So after 2 weeks being there they said it needed a motor.
But, id have to find another garage because they didnt work on trucks like that so I'd have to find another garage.
Aftera month of it being in Ohio we had a transport company to haul it to Latrobe Ford.
Chris from service called to let me know that the erased the codes at Kiaben Ford. Wondered if I knew what the codes were... I didnt.
I told Chris what other garages said.
Chris said he'd like to take his time to figure it out because none of the other diagnoses made sense.
Latrobe Fords experianced deasle mechanics and honezt service reps had the truck for a couple weeks...... but they FOUND the problem. 3 LOOSR BOLTS.
They didnt try to rip me off for thousands like these other garages.
So I HIGHLY RECOMEND Latrobe Ford over any garagee including Smells Ford. Because they to have tried to do repairs that didnt need done before. Also stay out of Ohio.
It's sad to think how bad we can be taken because of our ignorance when it comes to repairing are cars today. We should be able to trust these garages when we have issues. I have learned first hand again..... you cant. So when you see a statement like this you need to pay attention.

“I have had them help me restore my 30 year old pick up truck. They have done big jobs like ball joints , front fuel tank and straps , diagnosed my power steering leak and fixed it. Truly a top notch shop. They have been honest with me , always called before doing work and are the only shop I take my vehicle for inspections.”
“This is probably the best mechanic experience of my entire life. They were extremely accommodating, went far out of their way to get my car fixed within 2 hours and got me back on the road. Too bad I am out of town, because I will totally have Ruffners Auto as my go to mechanic for all my cars.

“This is not a soap opera type mechanic shop. These folks are down to earth and working class. They do great work and give me straight answers to my questions. “My car went *kaput* at a terrible time. I was the only one working at a busy restaurant near by and needed to get my car taken care of asap. Everything youd expected to be was great but the fact that they came to my work, dealt with me and my car at one door, let me run away to another door every 1.5 min to wait on someone, then back to them at the other door like it wasnt the most annoying, time consuming thing theyd probably have to do today, was above and beyond. Then!, I was unable to pick my car up right away but they facilitated this no problem. Leah, Adam, Levi and Amy...thank you! Very nice business. Very nice people!”

“Had a hole in my tire from a rock, and my tire was quickly losing air. I was in a hurry and they squeezed me in! Can't say enough about the caliber of employees working there, looking out for their customers. While there, I witnessed them also help another gentleman who was in a financial predicament and needed tires. They took great care of him. I'll be back for my courtesy oil change! Thanks, fellas!”

“I had a great experience here with a PA inspection that identified that I needed brakes. They were able to be put on in the same day at a reasonable price. The technician did a great job of showing me the work that needed to be done and it was done earlier in the day than I was expecting. I also had a minor, cosmetic issue taken care of while I was there. I will be coming back as this experience exceeded my expectations.”
“My husband and I, noticed a concern in the evening. A suggestion was made to immediately have this checked into, by a nearby mechanic. ( Listed Don's Auto Service). Nathan, with professional friendliness, welcomed us as his first service
appointment of the day, with no wait. Nathan greeted us with tool in hamd. We walked to our vehicle, he then addressed our concern.
He returned to the mechanic shop and came back with the tool that was sized properly for our vehicle. He ensured our vehicle was safe to drive. ( There was no charge. ) Indeed. I attempted to pay for this quick service but, no one would accept payment.

“We were on our way home from camp on April 12th (a Saturday night)and got a piece of metal stuck in our tire causing a flat in Derry Pa. We contacted a tow truck. They were towing us to the Walmart in Latrobe Pa and would be arriving 10 minutes before their closing time. The guys in the tire shop were amazing. Treated us with kindness and got us all fixed up and on our way home quickly. Most places now days would have been very upset with you arriving so close to closing. These employees were amazing. Thank you so much for helping us out.”
