I was hesitant to leave a review, but i feel as if this was necessary. This was the first time I have ever had a bad salon experience that wasn't due to the outcome of my hair results. Let me explain.
I made an appt. the morning of 9/7/24 at 10:15am. I arrived on time and noticed it was on the busier side, but i didn't mind waiting. I did not expect to wait over an hour, watching walk ins sit down before me. About 5 minutes after walking in, Beth acknowledged me and asked if I was checked in. I stated that I made an online appt. for 10:15 and she said I was good and I sat down at the seat next to her station. After an hour of patiently waiting and watching walk-ins come and go, Beth finally acknowledged me again and stated she thought I came in later.. she was the one who saw me 5 minutes after I arrived so i was confused about this statement. She then went an told the manager who has also seen me as I walked in and sitting for over an hour that I still needed assistance. By this time, i had already been waiting so long that I was committed to leave with my hair cut, especially being a single mom who doesn't get the opportunity to have time away from being a mom or work very often.
I finally got a stylist that they called in almost 3 hours early. I unfortunately forget her name, but she was amazing, despite her manager being unprepared herself and having all of this poor girls tools and sprays she needed to do my style, which she said is a regular occurance. As a manager, you would expect them to be an example of what you want every station to look like, and to have all necessary products and tools to do your job effectively and efficiently. Despite all of that, I didn't get the vision I had walked in with, but I am honestly glad i didn't. She did a fantastic job and really gave me a style that works great on me. I would hire her as my personal hair stylist in a second.
I am not one to complain at all. I have worked in customer service my entire life and have 5 years of managerial experience. I understand being busy and overwhelmed, and I would never ask for a discount of not pay for services I still received, but I was in complete shock that the manager did absolutely nothing to make this situation right. In fact, I didn't even received an apology from her. I did some of her staff, but not from her, and she witnessed the entire situation. Very disappointed with my experience aside from my experience with my stylist.
