I came into Campbell's for inspection on October 28th, 2020 and although my safety inspection passed, I was failed due to OBD2 not being ready. When I got the car, some codes had been cleared that I did not know about and the drive cycle was incomplete. I get that. However a code for my gas cap came up and instead of being cheap, I bought a whole new evap system and installed it, codes went off and I began my drive cycle. Two weeks later, my drive cycle was completed, called Campbell's multiple times.......no response.....even with detailed messages on both his business and cell. Battery went a few days later. Replaced same day but noted that it cleared my drive cycle from the battery dying. Redid drive cycle on better route and cleared it in two days. Continue to contact Campbell's 4 times on Nonmember 22nd, 2020 on both his business and cell. Left detailed mesages on both asking for callbacks and scheduling to meet my 30 days. ( STILL WITHIN MY 30 DAYS mind you)........no answer. Called throughout the week....no response. Finally He answers my second call on Dec.1st, 2020 scheduling me for Dec. 2nd, 2020. I go in and immediately he says you're over 30 days I'll have to charge you again. I explain to him that I have been calling for over a week with no response and he claimed to have not received any calls or messages. I then show him my call logs and texts and even had my messages recorded. Now he says oh yeah I have a message from you on my cell but it says nothing about calling you back for scheduling. I show him my text again showing that it concluded with quote" please contact me asap so that we can reschedule before my 30 days is up. At that point he got really nasty and said well this is going to be on me I'm going to have to pay for the re-inspection because it's over 30 days and Penn Dot won't accept the re-inspection past 30 days. Just give me the damn keys. Now mind you I had already been in for inspection and all of my safety inspection had passed because I had done extensive work to make sure that nothing was physically wrong with the car when I brought it in the first time oh, and I had text messages also from him the day after it failed I had contacted him asking what was needed for re-inspection where he had told me "your safety has passed so when you come back again if you pass the emissions smog test I will give you both stickers you'll only be being retested for emissions". After waiting almost an hour for an emissions smog test which on my vehicle only requires plugging in an OBD2 reader and checking the IM readiness and sensor status , it literally takes 5 minutes to do so, he comes back in throws my paperwork on the desk and says "your keys are in the car," I say thank you and he scoffs at me and says "you're not welcome goodbye". Now some people might say I'm just being a Karen. But my family lives paycheck-to-paycheck, I did everything in my power to make sure that I was in there within the 30 days and he was avoiding my calls. I understand that mechanics don't make a lot of money on inspections, and I'm all for supporting small businesses in my local area, however I don't make a lot of money myself and so make sure that everything was proper on that vehicle prior to taking it in. He had no reason to retest my whole vehicle. It had already passed safety just a few weeks ago with all new components on all the items that are tested. The reason it took him an hour to do my retest, is because he chose to re-inspect the whole vehicle because he was looking as I feel to see if there was one thing that he could fail me for so he can make that extra $ and of course found nothing. I told him that it was unprofessional and bad business, and I truly feel that the reason that he was avoiding my calls because he was open all of that time that I had been contacting him, was to push me past my 30 days so that I would be forced to have to pay for my reinspection. Had I not had all of our conversations documen
