My husband and I were able to agree on a car we wanted to purchase after researching for several weeks. We made an appointment to pick up our car on a specific day and time.
Although this was certainly not our first car purchase we were still excited when the time approached. We expected the salesman to be waiting for us with open arms! When you take on a debt for several years it is a big deal for you.
Instead of waiting for us our salesman was on the lot tracking down his next customer. We were made to sit in the hallway for at least a half hour like the proverbial redheaded stepchild. When it was finally our turn to be waited on that was another fiasco. My name was misspelled although I had provided ID with my name spelled correctly. Mind you we had already been there longer than we anticipated. The papers had to be redone. To top it off the figures were wrong and it took a few calculations to arrive at the correct balance. Also we were told there was no warranty although one had been on the window when we looked at the car! The finance person advised us that the car had been removed from the website already. He did some investigation and said there was a warranty. Today (the day after we picked the car up) we checked the website and the car was still there. I have never had such a confusing and frustrating car buying experience. It's a shame because I really like this car.

My service was not good. One of your employees told me I could take my car due to failed inspection. They were unable to get a whole of the warranty company. I ask if I should keep my car there . Oh no it will be find. So I took my car . Nit knowing that I would get charge for my inspection. I didn't know if you take it off the property it would have to be re inspection . The employee lied right to my face . That she said that.

Let me start this negative review by say I been dealing with this dealership for over 10 years. Recently got wife’s current used car there. Salesman was good thru entire deal. Parts department has a young lady that is an excellent parts person that find what you need and keeps you notified when stuff is ordered. SERVICE is horrendous. I took a customers car in due to transmission issues. 456 stutter. Called saying nothing found and nothing wrong. I paid the $179 misdiagnosed bill.Pulled right back in and service writer disappeared right away to get service manager Cody smith. Took Cody for ride while scanner was hooked up and I thought he agreed that yes problem in 456. So was dropped off again so him and the regional gm warranty person could go for ride. Well change fluid and it will be fixed, hahaha. Well I paid bill again $377 and drove it back to my shop watching on my scanner. Graph shows small rpm fluctuations in 456 meaning still not right. Not as pronounced but still there. I returned car to customer and told them to drive 500-1000 miles to see if it gets more pronounced in time. So I call in to service and schedule a flash on an 2008 Saturn outlook that someone put transmission in and when I went to drop it off Cody turned me away. He couldn’t do it. I had vehicle in 2 years ago to get vehicle flashed when I put tcm in it and they could do it then. I was asked why I didn’t do it myself and I told him I wanted stock flash in it and he still turned me away. So called another dealership and they welcomed me into get it done. Watch this service department and go get second opinion because there techs may be good but service manger is bad attitude and knows everything. I’m glad after all my years of dealing with them they shut me out the door and don’t care about customer and just there profit margins. and to add to this i ended up taking this to another dealer 5000 miles later and it did have a problem. they fixed it under gm powertrain warranty and the service writer there thanked me for the perfect diag work and the customer is happy. so my customer goes back to see cody smith and he doesnt admit they were wrong or even he was wrong. they gave my customer back 4$$.00 of money back and still dont accept fault or wrong. Frederick would be better place for service work without him.... watch out dont take there word till you shop elsewhere

My salesperson was Cody Wealand who I finally met after weeks of emailing waiting for the new cars to arrive.
I was interested in two cars and he showed me both allowing me to decide on my own which would be best for me. I chose the 25 Trailblazer and I'm so glad I did. I traded in an Equinox and really didn't need another one as I felt like downsizing was the way to go.
He made the sales process very easy and I picked the car up 3 days later. Cody is very personable, knowledgeable and thoughtful. It was pouring rain and he put the car in the service area so he could explain all the bells and whistles to me without me getting wet.
I have called him several times to be reminded of the settings etc. that I forgot already LOL and he even paired my phone up with the car.
Today I went back in to pick up the all weather mats I ordered and he was kind enough to install them for me.
I couldn't ask for a better salesperson and Frederick Chevrolet is lucky to have him.
I would recommend him to all of my friends.

Oem part broke 4 days after it was installed and they said they don’t warranty broken parts. I guess you have to warranty working non broken parts awful logic. But that’s Chevy buy a FORD ?
To reply to what you said I went to Bennett and they were professional and warrantied the parts you guys refused too. Seems like the issue is your parts manager. Maybe he knows his parts but 0 out of 5 stars when it comes to dealing with customers. (Parts manager claimed no warranty but GM offers a 24month unlimited mile warranty on the part)

We were charged for a brake fluid flush when we didn’t authorize it. Service was deceptive and wouldn’t work with us. Sad, I always bring my vehicle to Frederick’s. No more, they lost a customer forever and any future referrals.
