Have had several very negative customer service issues. Most recent was a purchase of a GE dishwasher with which I bought an extended warranty through HD. After less than a year of use, it stopped working. I started a claim with Assurion who handled HD's extended warranties when I bought the dishwasher. Assurion sent a tech out who determined it was the button console on top of the door that needed replaced. Of course, the dishwasher is now discontinued so the warranty servicer no longer had the part and had to order it from somewhere else. 2 weeks later after much back and forth, the part finally shows up (there were actually 2 sent... important later). A couple days later the tech shows up to install. Gets it installed and it still doesn't work. He determines it is actually the control panel that needs replaced and states "I don't know why the previous tech did not order both parts to avoid making you wait any longer." I said, good question. I am told it will take a while to order the new part and that my account shows a balance of $6? dollars. After some conversation, we determined it was due to the double order on the part. At this point, I say to go ahead and get the part ordered, but that I am going to head to the HD to express my frustrations. Then before the tech leaves, he let's me know he can't order the replacement part because the machine is discontinued. I go talk to a salesman at local Home Depot where I bought it hoping for some help. He says he will talk with his manager. I then call the warranty company who proceeds to try and tell me that it had been determined they were going to deny the claim because of damage to the machine reported from the original tech. I say there was no damage and that I had not previously been informed of any damage. She says they tried to call me on April 23rd. I assured here I had no missed or blocked calls from their company on or around the 23rd and that in fact, their company has never called me back as they always promise they will. I ask for a supervisor who agrees that what I am being told makes no sense because why would they have continued on with ordering the parts and scheduling the install if they were going to deny the claim from the original appointment, that the notes from the original appointment should have gone into effect immediately. She says she will get back to me in 48 hours. It has been 6 days and no word. Well, that is no word except from the local HD who says they are bound by their agreement with the warranty company they no longer use. We have now been almost 2 months with no dishwasher sanitizing baby bottles and cleaning diahes daily by hand after paying for an extended warranty on a dishwasher that is discontinued undoubtedly because there are dozens of reviews online of people all reporting the same or similar issue with their dishwasher. I expect HD to rectify this situation immediately and stand behind their product even if their former warranty servicer no longer does. It is not my fault they cut ties with this company who they probably cut ties with because of their poor customer service.

I am so furious! My husband and I purchased a cub cadet riding mower in Aug 2019 for over 2,000. The first year it worked alright and this winter it had trouble starting when we put the plow on the front to use it to push snow off the drive way. This week it did not start when we went to mow grass. Called out lawn mower guy to service it. He just called me and asked me who serviced it before and I told him no one. The lawn mower is just 1.5 years old. He then said that someone worked on it and it was just taped up. That the electric connection isn't working and that is why the battery would not charge and the lawn mower would not start. This was sold to me as a brand new lawn mower. I called Susan the manager on duty at the Lebanon, PA Home Depot and she claim it must have come from Cub Cadet that way. I told her my lawn mower service guy said it was a crap job and done with tape. So either they resold a lawn mower returned or Cub Cadet sells crappy stuff. I cut up my Home Depot card. I was a very loyal customer until this. Will not step foot in that store. Especially after the manager brushed me off! I am super pissed off!

Don't buy appliances there. My mother had a horrible experience. She bought several appliances, and when they delivered them the refrigerator was missing, and they just drop off, literally. The don't put anything in place, or set it up for you. Refrigerator didn't work properly, so they were promised a new one, which took weeks to be delivered. When it finally was, the single delivery man couldn't get it in the house alone, so he left it in the yard, didn't take the broken one, and my mother had to have someone else come to bring it in the house and set it up. Ridiculous !!

We got a new washer/ dryer set and we were told on a certain day they would be delivered. 10 minutes before they were supposed to be delivered we got a phone call saying they have to cancel because of the snow. so I was out of a washer and dryer for a whole week. and there was no snow on the road when they canceled. when I called the delivery people and homedepot they couldn't do anything for me. so I had to get people to take my old washer and dryers back down stairs so I ha

We had a miserable experience today. We were making a large purchase in the garden center. The items were too heavy to put in our vehicles, but the employee said we could rent a truck. We made the purchase - after the cashier counted our items repeatedly, as if we were trying to hide items - & then went to the customer service desk to rent the truck, only to find out none were available. A manager came to talk with us, but he clearly wasn't concerned with our situation. He suggested we make multiple trips, then told my husband he could have a truck there in an hour, but within minutes said that was not possible AGAIN. We returned everything. People make mistakes, which is understandable, but there was no remorse for the wasted time & poor service.

I deal with Home Depot on a regular basis. Trying to have carpet installed is a waste of time. I started this project Feb. 1, 2017. Got measurements Feb. 10, 2017. Paid for it Feb 11, 2017. Installers came March 21, 2017. They claimed measurements were wrong and carpet was too small. They still have not called to reschedule March 28, 2017. I have been without carpeting in this house for over a month. Stay away from flooring in this HD
