I do like this gym but that said, There are many rules. When you put a limit on the amount of weight I’m allowed to squat I have a problem with that. And no chalk, can’t squat with my shoes off. Like why do you have to have so many rules come on. But they have a nice facility and sauna and pool so I’ll keep going

I shouldn't have to be subjected to Fox News propaganda just to work out.

I’ve been to the Lebanon YMCA several times over the years and given it a go again and again - each time is a disappointment. The staff are snotty, rude, and slow. This time around I let a staff member know a machine wasn’t working well and he basically just told me to deal with it, I asked the front desk some questions and the ladies snapped at me. I wasn’t asking for an essay, I was asking for informational answers. To me this behavior doesn’t correlate with their building community mottos and whatnot. The other gym members are pretty cool, the equipment is alright, but the staff act like they’re the chosen ones™️ of lebanon city. They are kind to those they know in a certain circle and barely attentive to everyone else. I work in healthcare so I feel entirely entitled in saying that their customer service skills are quite subpar. The atmosphere does not feel inclusive or supportive.

Horrible!! Management has been the same for decades and the management team is careless and inconsiderate. They have dated lockers that can’t fit a Onewheel board (they’re about the size of a long board for those that ride) if you want to be environmentally friendly. Managements solution is that I leave a 2000 dollar board outside on the street while I workout or carry it around instead of allowing for it to stay near the staff for safety. Not just was it not allowed but I was “schooled in front of the whole staff on the main lobby on the importance of not asking the staff to please hold the electric board behind the counter and how I should just leave it outside”. Homophobia is common here too and the face he used to say it immediately made clear the level of disgust he felt. I would have been ok with it said properly and with some kind of respect, maybe pulling me aside as a gym ACTIVE MEMBER, I’ve never felt so disrespected and dismissed in my life. I would not recommend this gym or its current management team to ANYONE. If I had ANY OTHER gym with a sauna nearby I would have left years ago… Maybe having a younger management team <—— it’s a new world and I’m sure I’m not the only environmentally conscious member.

Wonderful facilities, however please be very cautious in leaving your children in the kids korner. Some staff there are very short-tempered with the children and after a horrible incident, I asked for a full refund and will never return. If you’re working out alone, great experience- unfortunately not so much when you have to bring your kids with you.

When I found out that I could join a gym/fitness center for free throughout Silver Sneakers, the YMCA was the only local one that has a pool. LOVE the aquatics classes!

Giving them a one star is too much. The staff is absolutely rude and miserable. The lady at the gym yelled at me and said she only gets paid ten bux an hour and doesn't care about my son and I. The staff on Saturday were great, and understanding, but come Friday and all the gremlins came out to accost innocent gym members.

Horrible staffing attitudes. Needs fixed ASAP, when members are asking for help!

The Lebanon Y offers many wellness options for the Lebanon Valley community. Group classes range from pilates to water workouts. The Y has a pool, large gym with ample machines, locker rooms, racquetball courts, auxiliary gyms, and on-site childcare. The parking lot is large and centrally located in the city. Hours are long and accomodating. If you join and know someone who is already a member, you can receive 20% off your monthly membership fee.

I wasn’t prepared to work out but awesome equipment the time I went was a bit busy but overall good workout but always remember eat something light before a workout otherwise expect to puke and be utterly exhausted rather then refreshed and more awake
